Dining options: Dinner, Late Night, Reservations
Description: Small family-run Italian restaurant just off the main square Lagos. Delicious Italian food, with a wide range of specials every day. Interesting sounding meat and fish dishes, and not expensive. We had the home-made pasta dishes, which were delicious and good value. Friendly staff, who also apparently speak German. Highly recommended as a cut above the usual pizza places, and a change from the many Portuguese restaurants in Lagos. Opens 12-15 at lunch and 18.30 to 24.00 for dinner.

We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions when we’re in Lagos and the food is always excellent. However, he likes to push his specials that has no visible price in the restaurant and we didn’t ask, my mistake.

A goats cheese ravioli with crushed pistachio nut I can’t see been €25. When queried he said the nuts were expensive and shipped in from somewhere??!!

On further checking of the bill he’d added an extra glass of wine at €7, which was lovely wine but after the ravioli price I wasn’t having that.

After questioning the bill the attitude become unpleasant and rudish which soured the experience.

Excellent food here but price and service is a bit hit and miss.

Went to visit my daughter and her partner who have recently moved to Lagos from Zell am See in Austria. I've never been to the Algarve before so wanted to visit as many of the local, traditional eateries as possible and experience the hospitality they had to offer. We came across this roof-top, back street restaurant which was a real fined. The food was excellent and the customer service was superb. I would urge anyone visiting Lagos to find this gem of a restaurant as you will not be disappointed. I attach a few pictures of the food which as you will see looks wonderful.

Dinner for 3 recently. Service excellent. Food excellent. Location very good. Ambience also good. Food quality and presentation first class. The best Tiramisu ever. There were two small negatives. Firstly the specials - it would be good to know the cost beforehand. Secondly the Italian wines were very much on the steep side and the small selection of Portuguese wines were also top dollar. That said we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will certainly return.

The food was absolutely fantastic, homemade pasta at its best. The ambience and service was great, this is Italian fine dining, however beware expensive hidden costs. The waiter recited the specials of the day which may have had prices on the board outside but not inside, the same happened with the desserts.
Whilst the menu which is displayed outside is reasonably priced the dishes of the day and extras such as after dinner port (10 euro per glass no choice given) and cheese were very expensive.
With a shared starter, two special pastas, cheese and port at 115 euros this restaurant is certainly not cheap for a midweek night out we would return for a special occasion but stick to the menu where prices are clearly marked
