Description: Small family-run Italian restaurant just off the main square Lagos. Delicious Italian food, with a wide range of specials every day. Interesting sounding meat and fish dishes, and not expensive. We had the home-made pasta dishes, which were delicious and good value. Friendly staff, who also apparently speak German. Highly recommended as a cut above the usual pizza places, and a change from the many Portuguese restaurants in Lagos. Opens 12-15 at lunch and 18.30 to 24.00 for dinner.

I specifically picked it as it had been described as a romantic restaurant with a rooftop terrace. When we arrived we assumed theterrace was closed as we were offered a seat downstairs. Every couple that came in after us was offered the terrace or downstairs.
Downstairs in my opinion had a poor atmosphere the owners kids were sitting at another table doing there homework, it felt like we had moved into an extra large dining room in there house.
The food was beautiful and tasted lovely. However I would say it was way overpriced for what it was.
The waiter that served us was lovely but I did feel like the owner was on his case all the time, which we could see as we were sitting downstairs

this was our 5th visit over the last 3 years and there were 8 of us, whilst the food always varies between good and very good the last couple of times in june 2018 and sept 2018 we have had terrible service there only 2 servers the proprietor and his wife. It has nothing to do with waiting for fresh cooked food which we can appreciate takes longer, they show no interest in looking after the people dining. The proprietor spent15 mins talking Italian to an American/Italian family ignoring the rest of the diners in the restaurant, leaving his wife on her own trying to serve everybody. The food is very expensive for what you get.

Fabulous restaurant- highly recommend it - Cosy in Winter and fab outdoor terrace in Summer. All dishes are cooked to perfection and extensive menu, not the norm Italian - way better

This little Italian restaurant was so good that it was the only restaurant we went to twice in our week away to Portugal. The upstairs terrace with candles and plants overlooking rooftop terraces was magical. The food was the best I have eaten outside of Italy!

The ravioli to start is in a light sage and butter sauce (not that heavy tomato sauce you often find). The homemade lasagne was just divine! The garlic bread is thin and crispy, everything we ate was just melt in the mouth. We were served by Cinzia who was lovely. A bit off the beaten track but so worth it! You must go!!
