It is the perfect holiday feeling sitting at their outdoor tables in the middle of the narrow pedestrian street, eating good food, drinking good wine and watch all the other tourists passing by - when the sun goes down and the lights goes on. It can hardly be better.

The food can be very good, other times average, but the cheese and olives for starter and creme caramel for desert is always perfect. Easily a favorite place to come back to.

This is the favorite restaurant of another family and we've dined here with them two summers in a row. The food is very good. The seafood rice is very good. My children love the kebabs that hang down on a skewer above the plate. All in all it has been a good experience each time. The owner Carlos is always there and is very friendly and will recommend what is the freshest and the best.

We had a meal here on our first night and were not disappointed. The restaurant is simple but the food is wholesome and fresh. The service is friendly and efficient. We had a monkfish cataplana and it was delicious, freshly cooked and served in the traditional cataplana dish. We decided to go here a second time and opted for the piri piri chicken which again was very nice. We would highly recommend this restaurant, it is great if you want a straightforward Portuguese meal at a reasonable price. The restaurant was very busy and therefore this says it all!!

We stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant whilst wandering around Lagos old town one evening (we didn't realise it had such a good rating on Trip Advisor).

Friendly service and great food. We decided to try the Seafood Cataplana which was delicious and definitely a highlight of our holiday.

No nonsense restaurant with outstanding food. We will definitely eat here again if we return to Lagos.
