“Just coffee but on the button”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

If you are looking for somewhere to fall after walking the marina in old town this is a very loved cafe. We stumbled upon it weary from the sun we have longed for all year. Were met by 2 very young but very capable young ladies who made us feel just as welcome for our 2 coffees and mineral water as if we had arrived for dinner. We enjoyed watching life pass us by drinking superb coffee. Our bill came to €4.40 for the 3 items - exceptional value for the location and quality of coffee. One piece of advice would be to ask for a jug of hot milk and boiling water as on a scale of 1 to 10 their coffee strength is at 12! Well done to the principals behind this authentic cafe (there may be an element of context to this review- we were tired and glad of a place to rest our weary bones ). Can't go wrong for a coffee on the go.

“Loved this little cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Visited this quirky little cafe twice for breakfast. They served us the biggest bowl of fresh fruit, muesli and yogurt I've ever seen. A really lovely chilled out space, perfect.

“Was OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

The cheese/meat platter (tapas?) wasn't very nice. Had baby bell and laughing cow cheese!? Isn't this supposed to be portugal?? Meat was also very bland. On the other hand the coffee was perfect.

Was hidden away down a side street, unusual decoration and simple menu.

Covered all basis and added their own unique twist to what was delivered.

A lovely visit, thank you.

“Fab place to eat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

Such a fab place to eat with a great seating area, outside bench seats with cushions, fresh tasty food, with presentation like I have never seen before, even the pot of tea was fab, with leaf under the tea cup and served in a beautiful tea pot and milk jug, coconut milkshakes are a must and I loved my hot dog toasted sandwich with melted cheese. Everything we could see brought out looked wonderful, Situated just off the main square.
