Excellent, Amazing, Interesting and so much fun!
If you are a foodie or a food lover you need to take this tour! Luis (our guide) took us to some amazing restaurants and ordered us things that we never would of known how to order let alone eat. Luis was full of information and was a blast to interact with. We tried a wide variety of local fares and wines! It was worth every penny and I would recommend it to everyone!! Thank you Luis!!!

We took the Lagos Food Tour and it was just amazing ! Maria is the best tour guide ever ! It was one of my best experience. The Food was just amazing ... Maria also gave us some great tips about places to visit and places to eat at. Thank You again Maria for such a great moment and I look forward doing another tour with you this year !

We made the Classic Food Tour with Maria. She took us to Portimao where we visited 5 restaurants/taverns/bars. All of them were different. I didn’t make an exact count but I think we had 12 traditional dishes during the stops. In each of the tasting locations we could choose a drink. The food and wine tasting samples were delicious at every stop. Great food and wine!
Maria is amazing. From the very first moment we felt her passion to Algarve's cuisine and wine. Besides of food and wine she told us about the life and culture in the Algarve. She also gave us a list of tips where to eat and drink in Lagos where we stay. Maria speaks perfect English. We tried to teach her a few words from the Finnish food & wine vocabulary. She remembered the words and even pronounced them surprisingly well at the end of the tour. She has to be a linguistic talent because Finnish isn’t an easy language.
The Classic Food Tour with Maria was the highlight of our longstay in Lagos so far. It was very informative and great fun. Highly recommended!

It was lovely taking you around Portimão and to get to know so much about Finland and your culture. It was a true pleasure, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Through the little streets of Lagos and off the tourist path, she gave us a taste of what the locals eat at home. Great food and wine and no one in those restaurants was speaking anything else but Portuguese...Felt like one of them, and the clams...I got the recipe :) Thank you!!!

We had such an amazing time with Maria!
We decided to go on the Classic Food Tour and it was incredible.
She took us to five different places off the beaten track and we got to try several traditional dishes in each. Funny, helpful and knowledgeable, Maria was the perfect tour guide - we highly recommend it!
Will certainly be coming back... Think Cheese and Wine Tour will be next!
