Visiting old town we decided to see this cathedral and tower. Very nice view from bell tower. Every alter inside so impressive and artistic. Had a little prayer inside as so quiet and lovely. Even kids appreciated the beauty and history coming from every corner of this cathedral. 7 euros per adult kids go free.

Faro old town is a gem of the algarve which retains its historical feel and the cathedral is its highlight.Seems well maintained with a spiritual aura ,two musts are a climb to the top of the bell tower with great views and a look a the bone chapel bizarre!

There is a small admission fee to see the interior of the Cathedral, the cloisters, climb the tower and visit a small museum. The Cathedral is very ornate and the views of the islands from the tower are beautiful.

There is a small admission charge but it's well worth it to see the Cathedral, small cloistered area and the tower. Views of the old city are excellent from the bell tower.

The architectural structures inside the building are really beautiful. The organ is worth a look as it seems to be adorned with oriental symbols. Climb the steps to look at the bells, time it right and you'll witness the bong.

Loved our time of prayerful reflection here. A good example of renaissance baroque art, good facilities with helpful staff. Recommended

Really interesting place, the cathedral 's square itself is somewhat quite romantic.
The entry price is 3,5 euro encompassing the cathedral, the tower and the museum.
Very nice cathedral with wonderful carvings. The museum is certainly not an absolute must.
Do not miss the panorama from the tower, the view on the sea and the city is absolutely breathtaking.

A small fee to get into this beautiful Cathedral; very much worth it. You could stay for hours just looking at all of the amazing carvings.

The cathedral is a beautiful place to visit. Stunning carved statues and a museum upstairs which is included in your entrance fee. Reduced prices for senior citizens

A beautiful example of wood carving and religious artefacts, felt quite calming and serene, well worth a visit.
