Living in Faro I often go to this Cafe and the coffee is great. It is not a tourist cafe, it is usually full of locals (good sign). Have always had good snacks there (and great omelettes) and now they have a restaurant too where we ate for under €5 each.
The service is very good and when you enter you are greeted with smiles from everyone and you don't feel they are doing it because they are hoping for a good tip (because when you just have a coffee, you don't tip!).
Most important - it is one of the cleanest cafes I have been in - if I am waiting for a take away, I sit and look around and I cannot fault it even in the deep corners and underneath low furniture ... spotless.
This is one of Faro's great secrets - don't tell too many people or you won't find a vacant table (I have often had to wait and that is always a good indication).
I have been going here for several years but never thought to write a review!!
