I ate at Se7e Pedras Restaurant and Wine in January on 3 occasions. The first evening was wet, windy and cold in the narrow streets but once inside the welcome and service was warm. It is in 2 vaulted brick rooms with unusual decor - spot the old motor cycle- with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. All the staff were extremely helpful and took great care to explain the Portuguese menu. Each meal was excellent, freshly prepared and nicely presented. Try the thinly sliced beef steak.
There was an excellent choice of wines but the house red was good. This is a new restaurant, they are working hard, and it has great potential – I wish them every success. (The background music was good for an old rocker like me, and the inevitable Portuguese restaurant TV is the smallest I saw in a week!) Great place.

This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise in our visit to Faro. It's a hidden cozy little place in downtown city centre.
We've got inside to have a glass of mulled wine as it was advertised outside, and we ended up having a few tapas from the menu and a full bottle of red wine. We were delighted by everything, the warm home made bread, the chorizo, the scrambled eggs cooked with a mouthful of Mediterranean flavours, the decor and above all the price/quality ratio. That's why we (me and the husband) kept on asking more and more.
I have to say that I wasn't expecting something like this in Faro, as I go there all the time for more than 25 years.
The staff is relaxed and young, which can be a breath of fresh air in such rustic venue, however some people might find them a little distracted :)
The house wine is well above the average you can usually find in other restaurants and the music choice is just perfect! I will definitely be coming back with all the family this summer.

PS: please get a couple of menus in English, it's time consuming for staff having to translate it all :)
