Not really deserted.
Had to walk past rave party in a shed!
Sunbeds along beach.
Sea amazing.
Ok for an hour but not all day.

Loved this place - beautiful sea trip on the ferry, then a completely relaxing walk to the lighthouse and back, then a quick drink before we got the boat back. The area is so peaceful - well worth a visit

The island was a wonderful day excursion. The ferry boat ride was 45 minutes and worth it. Slow and easy going. The restaurant "Estamine" has excellent fresh seafood. I had oysters and a salad.

We visited a few beaches when visiting faro and this was by far our favourite! It’s much quieter as there is only 1 restaurant on the island. It’s also more expensive to get there €10 return each on the ferry but well worth it for the day. We brought a packed lunch and rented 2 sun beds for €20 for the day. The restaurant had a snack bar with sandwiches for around €6 if you didn’t want to bring a pack up.

Lovely island for a day trip, the further you walk the quieter it gets, no shade unless you rent an umbrella/lounger
