Stayed for one night whilst visiting Faro to save a trip back West to Sagres.

Excellent location and easy to find as you enter Faro from the airport direction. Just follow the signs to the 'recreativo marina' as you enter Faro and you are there. Good underground car park for 12.50 Euro a day. Cheaper than meter parking outside.

Modern, clean and stylish interior. Room and bathroom spotless with comfortable bed and good, quiet Air-con. Breakfast layout good but at 10:15 was looking a little tired with cold scrambled eggs, hunting for cutlery and staff eager to clear up.

High point was the Bar/Restaurant on the top floor. Menu and food are excellent with good service. The views are spectacular and rather than climb the Cathedral steps come to the Bar during the day, buy a drink/ have Lunch and see the same view without the effort!

Only downside: No Coffee/Tea facilities in the room. I think that may be a British thing :)

The hotel was an excellent location for marina, bus, trains and shops, all within walking distance. The room was spotless. We were at the front first floor overlooking the marina,Lovely views!! The housekeepers were first class!! Very good choice at breakfast, I feel charging for wifi is a bit OTT. We booked a meal one night and never got it as the restaurant was to busy, not good. Some of the staff went above and beyond to help, the lady in charge of the restaurant and Marcia? On the front desk, brilliant.A few of the others front desk and restaurant really need to try a bit harder, being polite costs nothing.

Excellent location on the marina with easy access to restaurants, the historic quarter and the ferry dock for beach trips. Excellent room with wood and marble accents, great tv with various cable options and lots of natural light. Excellent breakfast buffet with various fresh options to choose from. Great design aesthetic throughout the property. Also, the housekeepers are very efficient, friendly and accommodating. My only gripes... the front desk staff weren't exactly effusive or full of good suggestions. Sterile is a more apt description. Also, charging for wifi access in the rooms at a hotel with this price point is dated and ridiculous. The lobby (where free wifi is available) was crowded every morning after breakfast with people going online. Also, there was a green couch in the lobby that is in dire need of a steam clean to get rid of the hair product stains left by a pair of customers.

Room Tip: Marina view rooms at the end are on a corner with tons of natural light.

Very central hotel pleasant place no pool but thems the breaks.
Would prefer if this hotel and all hotels just made free wifi all over the hotel rather than this stupid lobby free rooms x per day.
But that is a general gripe rather than this particular hotel

Great location, great views, great menu and delicious food! Service was brilliant. While going around the table handing out bread they even offered our 1 year old a roll! They could do with investing in another high chair as they only had one and we went with two small children. When in Faro next will return! Highly recommend.
