Channels too.The staff where lovely and so was the resort. The staff were very nice and kind.Thank you vale de oliverias for. Very enjoyable stay

Great hotel, excellent 2 bed garden view room, p07.....ended up being put in the wrong room first night which was a bit of anightmare second day as we had unpacked n had to repack to move. No apology of free meal etc.......kids loved it made loads of friends, kids club reps very good with the kids......day n night. Meals in olive tree nice but set three course meal 'stunning' reccommend swordfish n onions and tomatoes. Drinks at poolbar, bar jasmin n live tree wayyyyyyyyy over priced n u could tell as hardly anyone bought from there n very quiet.five euros for not even a pint of beer, yet you can buy a litre at onsite shop for 1.25?, very limited on helpful info, like shuttleservice unless ur aware of it ur unaware of the service, breakfast was ok but again unware ofthe. Extrasyou an ask for, fried egg, boiled egg, omlette, pancakes etc...... Wasnt awareyou HAVE to book for evening meal..... And. Defo would reccommend a shuttle service to local suprmarket as if you were like us we didnt have a car n was on b n b basis, onsite shop great for brekki/ dinners but not for evening tea......loved the added extras in the rooms, dishwasher/microwave/washer etc we also had iron n ironing board. Noneedto bring any towels. Loved it would defo go again but know now to bring more food less clothes!,,,,,, or have a car! For shopping.......b
ALSO FEEL HAZARD SIGNS SHOULD BE PLACED AROUND POOL DECKING AS LOTS OF KIDS BURNING THERE LITTLE TOES DUE TO THE HEAT....but miles better than tile......hope to see you next year xxxxxx

Room Tip: Any of the p rooms are fab, pool n garden view rooms-bar the one next to the recycling points

My husband and I recently spent 9 nights at the resort. Unfortunately my husband was admitted to hospital on the first night and remained for 3 days. With 2 young children I was feeling slightly apprehensive, however the support and care we received from the staff at the resort was of exceptional quality. We were offered a complimentary breakfast, taken to the local supermarket for groceries and reassured that anything we needed was no problem to any of the staff. The staff contacted the hospital for me on several occasion ensuring that I was not met with language barriers and I was offered a lift to and from the hospital and for my husband to be collected on his discharge, the hospital was a 45 minute drive. I would like to give special mention to Daniel, Karen, Eduardo and Douglas for their kindness and excellent professionalism. We would highly recommend the resort to anyone as we believe we were shown a level of service second to none. The overall resort was beautiful and the standard of the townhouse was of high quality. The location was ideal and only 10 euros to beach, town centre and waterpark. We hope to return in the near future.

Room Tip: We stayed in M16 2 bedroom townhouse which was overlooking the pool.

We had a lovely stay for 10 days self catering. We were in a well-placed 2 bedroomed apartment with garden view. A couple of negatives: firstly, if there are 2 of you in a 1 bedroom apartment you have 2 sun beds, if there are 4 of you in a 2 bedroom apartment, you still only get 2 sun beds. I asked for 2 more beds for 3 days in a row before I was told I couldn't have them (there were 4 of us)???? Drink/food prices were just silly. Hardly anyone used the indoor pool as you needed to wear a hat which cost 6 euros each!! Not enough sunbeds around the pool (essential when you have children and need to observe them whilst in the pool). Perhaps another pool is needed (adults only). Very small 2nd bathroom. Small gym. Positives: friendly staff, change of pool towels whenever you wanted (for free), beautiful accommodation, lovely poolside sunbeds. We had a car for the whole 10 days but I think you would seriously struggle without a car for that long. As someone else mentioned, lots of garden maintenance going on, strimmers, mowers etc... Don't book direct. We booked through Travel Republic. Much cheaper.

Room Tip: Garden rooms were fab

We have stayed in many places in this area for the last ten years and may I say this has been the most disappointing. We expected a five star resort and got a slightly run down 3 star in the middle of nowhere.
Our accommodation has smelly air conditioning , cobwebs on the ceiling and dead bugs on the walls.
The kitchen is very poorly furnished with crockery and glassware and no iron or board. I requested and iron and board from reception and was to,d I could have it for the evening but would have to returning the morning. What!!!
Pool area is small and the food in the bar is terrible I ordered and chicken burger and it was inedible. the burger was made from chopped and shaped chicken something I have never experience before and. Never want to again.
A taxi to and from the main town cost ten euros each way so unless you have a car it is not very well placed.
We have only just. Arrived and I am looking forward to going home.
This place is not worth the money.

We spent 12 nights here and really enjoyed it. Nice well-furnished, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms (we saw 2 of the Hotel rooms) and good service. It's a little hard to find so put the coordinates in your sat nav upfront or it will possibly not know the adress. If you compare it with german standards it's maybe 4 Star or a little above (we didn't pay the full price so it was fine) but I guess for the local standard the 5 stars are correct. However the food is extremely overpriced for average quality at best (breakfast is ok and you can order extras without any problems). Luckily you find lots of good restaurants in the area, e.g. our preferred choices in Ferragudo: lunch at O Barill (10 Euro complete lunch, perfect quality). For dinner a typical and home cooked meal at Toc Toc (everything we tried here was superb and prices are very moderate so also locals come here). Finally to the casa grande tapas bar to get a nice glass of wine in a historic atmosphere (really good wine at reasonable prices, food is average, but pork cheeks and salad are fine). This was definitely a good choice for our stay in the Algarve. Not sure if I would return for the full price though.

Room Tip: Hotel rooms on the left side seem to be a little bit quieter than on the right side facing the Pool...

We stayed for one week at Vale d'oliveiras resort and spa. With two young children (8 and 4) we felt the resort ticked every box. The whole resort was very beautiful from the minute you drove through the drive way, it was all extremely well kept and maintained. The reception area was warm and friendly and we were checked in by a lovely lady who explained every bit of the resort to us in a most welcoming way. The townhouse we stayed in had a pool view and was stunning. So clean and so much space. Two bathrooms, large living area and balcony, fully equipped kitchen. The resort had the flexibility of offering self catering (as we were) but the benefits of a 5 star hotel, so new towels were brought daily, beds were turned down etc. The pool area and bar were fantastic, pool towels provided so you don't need to take your own (unless you plan to visit the beaches). The Jasmine Bar offered lunches and evening entertainment (Potugese BBQ) which was well worth the visit. Our children were made to feel very welcome but as adults we felt equally looked after. Our children were not interested in visiting the kids club but there is one on sight that is near to the pool area so children are not far away, I think daily activities were provided. An on site play area was also lovely for children to meet new friends and swing or climb! The Olive Tree restaurant was very nice, delicious food and Portugese Rose is fantastic to try.
The whole experience was just fantastic and we are planning on returning already with friends.
If you wish to get out and about (which is well worth doing) then a hire car is essential as you can't walk anywhere. Villamoura is beautiful with a great crazy gold course for the whole family (and great ice cream).
The water park Slide and Splash is only 10 mins from the resort when driving and was a fun day out.
Would highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling with young children who are looking to relax, be pampered and ensure your children are safe and happy. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Room Tip: Townhouse with pool view was stunning and worth every penny.
