“Excellent restaurant located off the strip but worth the short walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

We visited this restaurant on our last night & wished we had found it earlier. 5 adults and 3 lively under 3's were made to feel very welcome & valued customers. Nothing seemed to much trouble. Theres a great children's play area 2 occupy little ones. The meals were absolutely lovely and the kids meals massive! All food freshly cooked and well worth the price ( approximately (€8-€16 depending on what you ordered. theres also a special offer, 3 course meal & glass of wine approx €11 we chose soup, pork & choc mouse which was absolutely lovely.

“a real taste of portugal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

This is a family run restaurant by people who really care about their customers and the food they serve.
We returned for a second evening having enjoyed an excellent meal with such friendly service that we knew we could not do better for our last night before travelling home. We were not disappointed as they were consistent with the standard of food and service, the restaurant owner spent time explaining the menu and local ingredients and I can definitely recommend the sea bass fillet followed by their own recipe of almond tart.
We had not initially intended to go this restaurant but were just out looking for somewhere nice to eat having been very disappointed by what was on offer in he main part of the town, this was a gem of a find.

“Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

We enjoyed a lovely leisurely lunch here served by a very gracious gentleman, the food was very well presented - on a lovely sunny warm day we enjoyed delicious salads, washed down with a very nice rosé wine - will keep this place in mind for any return visits, maybe in the evening in the very nice indoor restaurant - stop off here on your walk down towards the strip - well worth it.

“excellent service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

we stumbled on the restaurant when looking for somewhere that looked like an authentic portuguese place which was difficult to find in albufeira! although we only had drinks and bar snacks we fell in love with this place and the host was lovely and really accomodating. if we had stayed longer we would have definately eaten here. the drinks prices were very cheap so i would assume the food would be very reasonable. if you want to experience a portuguese establishment rather than an oasis of british pub grubs then definately try this place.
