Have to say this was one of the best holidays I've had to date!
Lovely surprise to find the hotel apartments had been redecorated :-) so spacious and modern. There was a group of 10 sharing 2x2 room apts and 1x1 room apt and each evening we got together in one of the apts for food and drinks and there was plenty of room so sit around on one of the 2 sofas or large dining table. Air Con in all the bedrooms and the loving room :-) and a balcony on each room looking over the pool. Meant to be free wifi all over the hotel but didn't work in our room on the 1st floor.
For breakfast and lunch I'd recommend Teasers right next door...lovely. takes a while but make use of their free wifi while you wait.
Taxis were around 5 euros to the strip in the new town.
Would def go back!! :-) :-)

Returned 7th June after spending a week here. We were a bit dissapointed on arrival at around 1.30pm after an early flight that check in wasn't till 4pm but our room might be ready before. Had a drink from the bar and hung around for 45mins or so then we were given the key to room 324, a self catering 1 bed apartment. I have to say it was the nicest one I have stayed in in this price range. Nice modern decor, 2 larger than normal single beds, well furnished with plenty of storage. We didn't make any meals but there was a good range of kitchen equipment, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and kettle. Nice bathroom, bath with shower over. Outside is a small balcony, the room would sleep three but you would struggle to get 3 people on the balcony as the air con takes up a large chunk of it but for 2 it was ok. This apartment is on the side of the hotel so in the shade in the afternoon. It was quite windy in the evenings, so too cold and draughty to make much use of it which was a shame. We were also near the busy main road, which is very noisy so for light sleepers not ideal, it didn't bother us too much. We had a "Drain" smell in the bathroom which seemed to come and go, we reported it at reception but when the maintainance man came it wasn't there. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel as we were out and about exploring the area, the lovely beaches, the old town and had a day at Vilamoura. We found the staff helpful and friendly, everywhere was well kept and very clean. If we'd had a sunny balcony and been away from the road noise I would give 10 out of 10.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road

We booked this hotel very last minute and were pleased overall. The location was about 10 minutes walk to two different beaches and a short taxi ride from Old Town and the strip at Albufeira.

The pool area was nice, with plenty of sunbeds and our room was a good size. We booked bed and breakfast but the breakfast was pretty basic and as we had a kitchenette area with all the essentials, next time we would probably go self catering.

I would recommend the Algarve - lovely beaches and good food and I will definitely return at some point.

Just returned from a week in this hotel. Was there with my husband and 4 yr old daughter. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well equipped with tv, ac and all kitchen appliances that you need. The hotel itself is located on the quieter side of the strip which suited us fine. It was a short walk to the Santa Eulalia beach which was quiet also. There are plenty of restaurant near by. The hotel was very clean and airy. It has a beautiful pool and garden area, with a kiddie pool. So it was safe for my daughter to play in. The only downfall and maybe it was the time of year we were there, is that there was very little else for the kids to do. I noted there was some type of kids club but there was only a hand full of kids there that week. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a wonderful massage in the spa by a lovely lady, but i didnt get her name. Would recommend this hotel if you are travelling with kids and want a quieter place to stay.

Room Tip: We were in room 315. Which looked out onto the pool and also had a sea view.

This was a Christmas present for my husband and I from our oldest son. We stayed here from 7th to 16th May 2014. We stayed in a one bedroom self catering apartment which was very clean and very spacious with plenty of storage. The kitchenette was adequate for our needs and the bathroom was nice and bright. In our nine day stay, our beds were changed twice and we had clean towels every other day which was good. The maids were very friendly and reception staff very helpful. There was no problem getting sunbeds at this time of year and the temperature was between 22 to 30 degrees, so we came home with a lovely suntan. We aren't big beach fans but we had a walk one night which was about 15 minutes from the hotel. There is a large supermarket about 5 minutes away which was excellent. We had a walk down to the old town which was nice and had a meal in one of the fish restaurants. It took us about 40 minutes to get there and we got the little novelty train back. I would advise taking tea bags, coffee and cereals with you as these are very expensive. We had quite a few lovely meals at Teasers which is next door to the hotel and they have an offer on where you get a three course meal and a drink for 10 euros, bargain. We were on the second floor overlooking the car park which wasn't the best view, but it was nice and quiet at night and shaded on the balcony which was lovely while we had our lunch. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return again soon!

Room Tip: If you want to be sure of a good nights sleep, get a room around the back.

Had a great week in Albuferia in early May. Weather was wonderful and this hotel was perfectly located for my husband and I. We had a one bed roomed apartment, self catering. It was very spacious with a large living area, flat screen tv, well equipped kitchen (no oven which didn't bother us but there was a hob), bedroom was also well sized. The apartment was very clean and the beds were made and towels changed every day, the bathroom was the only area where there could be improvements as there was mould on the ceiling and the toilet seat was loose and on the verge of falling off. Clean otherwise though. Our room was with a city view and was located at the front of the hotel. The traffic did not bother me but for anyone who is a light sleeper I would suggest requesting a room elsewhere as the traffic outside is quite noisy. The Santa Eulalia and Spa is located about a 10 min walk from the main strip which was great because it was quiet where we were but we could head for some good fun and a late night without having to go too far. There is an endless choice of restaurants and bars all around. A large supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away and is very reasonable not like some of the other resort supermarkets we have been in over the years which just overprice everything. The pool was spotlessly clean every day. We didn't get to try out the spa so can't comment on that but the treatment price list seemed on a par with prices in Ireland. The staff were very friendly, always engaging in conversation. Thank you Jaou, who was one of the nicest bar staff we have met! The old town is a brisk 20 min walk away or a short ride in a taxi. Again there is no end of bars, restaurants and market stalls etc. Lovely beach in the old town but also there are 2 beaches, one on either side of the hotel which are 5 - 10 minute walk away.
We got an absolutely fabulously priced deal for this hotel by having a good look online and I am hoping to get back there again for a week in September. I would definitely recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and value for money. Can't wait for my next visit!

Room Tip: The rooms at the front of the hotel might be a problem for light sleepers as the traffic outside is...

Stayed mid May 2014 for 10 days and it was lovely, We stayed in a studio on the 4th floor very quiet. The studio was very spacious almost like a 1 bed apartment. The kitchen and bedroom had doors so it would be ok for 3 because their was a bed settee. Nice outdoor area next to pool for sunbathing. Quite a few restaurants and bars very close to hotel and a supermarket round the corner about 3 mins walk away. Old town was a 40mins walk which we walked into quite a few times. The strip 10mins walk and the beach only 10mins walk away.
