We stayed at these apartments for 5 nights in a studio, which was ample for just the 2 of us. The galley kitchen was stocked with all usual utensils including a kettle to put on the hotplate but we used a travel kettle. The t.v. and air con were extra if required. There are 2 pools together and a nice green with plenty of sunbeds. There are 2 bars - the one by the pool serves snacks until 3pm - drink and snack e4.50. The location is excellent for beach - 10 minute walk, left out of entrance and then to the right. 2 sunbeds and brolly on the beach is e15 for the day and e10 after 2pm. The 'strip' is also only a 10 minute walk, right out of entrance, across the roundabout and then to the right. Our only complaint is that the apartments are on the coast road which is quite busy during the day so you have the continuous traffic noise whilst relaxing by the pool but on the whole, this is a minor distraction. There are are a number of bars with in the surounding area to get a drink and food. The best value is Teasers Bar - breakfast for e1.80 and e1 for a pint! We had breakfast there every morning! Just down the road on the roundabout is the kareoke bar where you can sing all night long! Try Philipes' bar too on the roundabout - happy hour all day until 5pm. The Dubliner Irish bar was quite expensive in comparison e6 for a pint of Magners! For live music go to the Wild & Co at the top of 'the strip' - different groups each night and e4 for a pint. There is a 'Giro' bus service so you can travel around the whole of the Albuferia area, e1.20 each journey. We booked our stay with LastMinute.com and flew with EasyJet to Faro and booked transfers with them too - £28 return. We would definately recommend using these apartments and am looking forward to returning there again next year.

Stayed here for a week in July. Check in was fairly quick and reception area is huge with gigantic sofas to sleep on should you get there early (which we did)!

Room had two singles and sofa bed/futon. Four of us comfortably shared a room with a bed each. Rooms are clean and modern as is the hotel. Kitchenette is very handy and cost saving with plenty of space for four to eat. Only downside would be the bathroom which although adaquate, it felt a bit cramped.

Our room had a fantastic view of the city as we were on the top floor. The hotel itself is in a good location with a supermarket, bars and shops right on the doorstep. I'd suggest you don't try the bargain peri-peri chicken in the local restaurants.....absolutely revolting! Stick to Nandos! The Old Town where mature couples and families tend to go to is a good 10 minute taxi ride and is highly recommended (cabs are quite cheap anyway). There is also the 'New Town', bustling with drunken teens during summer nights which is literally down the road, about a 5 minute walk.

The pool was ok put bit small for a hotel of this size, constantly had to make sure I didn't bump into anyone else. There is also a large grassed area next to the ball where people tan etc.

Overall, the hotel met almost all of our requirements but in terms of value for money there are better hotels in the local area.

We stayed here for a week at the end of September. We paid about £92 each for a HUGE apartment through On The Beach. When we arrived we thought we were at the wrong place as the reception area is very large, spacious and we were very impressed. Reception were 'to the point', told us what we needed to know and that was enough for me. Room was on the second floor with a small-ish balcony but the bedroom was big with lots of storage. Bathroom was well presented and had a bath and a powerful shower. The living room was massive with a dining table and chairs, sofa with pull out bed and also a small TV. Kitchen was quite big too with microwave (including grill which people didn't seem to realise), hob and fridge plus enough utensils and crockery. Air con is good and you can operate without the remote control (same as the TV) so no need to pay 15 euros deposit for each. As we booked late and paid a very good price we expected a small room with a poor view but we had a view of the pool and also we could see the sea (which gave us an amazing view of the thunderstorm that flooded the Old Town!). The pool was cleaned daily and there was plenty of sunbeds around the pool and also in the large garden area. There was also entertainment in the evenings (but it did come to an end whilst we were there). Great location away from the noise but supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc within very easy walking distance. Quite possibly 'luck of the draw' with what room you get but we were very very pleased with this accommodation.

I can only agree with the last few reviews, the Santa Eulalia Beach Club is a great place to stay.

I can't really add anything more than the other people have said, we had a corner one bedroomed apartment and it was huge with a double balcony looking over the pool. It was cleaned every day apart from Sunday.

We also managed to check in early at around 1pm which was a huge relief.

I have to reiterate what another reviewer says and get a map from the reps room, there is one for the Old Town and one for The Strip. This will help to get your bearings.

Teasers for breakfast is great at Euro1.79, Coyote for drinks and lunch, Neto is a lovely restaurant for snacks and an evening meal. All this and your hotel on the same road, great.

There was plenty of room around the pool and loads of sunbeds. We only stayed round the pool once as the beach was lovely. You can walk across the clifftops to the Old Town which is great fun, I walked in bare feet and in flipflops so its nothing too dangerous although the path does get a little thin at times. I wouldn't do it at night though.

The Noddy train is an experience, we sat right at the back on the way home from the Old Town and it was like a rollercoaster except you weren't strapped in.

I would have no problems about going back to this hotel again.

Just returned from St eulalia, great holiday, flew from Edinburgh with Globespan. Did not get room until 3pm. but was worth waiting for, on 4th floor large balcony, sea view, modern decor,1 bedroom with lots of space. Kitchen had all we needed, except toaster, missed my toast in morning, if returning, would buy a cheap one and leave it. Lots of wardrobe space, air con. brilliant, derssed balcony, maid service daily except sunday and day prior to departure. Great location, lots of eating places and pubs nearby but quiet at night for sleeping. Went to beach most days both are excellent. Old town a must see. Would definately return to these apartments with my toaster!!!

We stayed at these apartments the first two weeks of September and had a smashing time. The weather was great in the 30s most days. The apartments are close to the strip and close to the beach. We had no trouble with getting sun loungers but then we were only going to the pool late in the afternoon. The apartment complex is small and there wasn't much on, there only seemed to be entertainment in the complex every other night but it is so close to the strip that this doesn't matter. We had no trouble with the linen changes and the towels were changed very frequently. There is a table in the entrance hall of the apartment and when you need a change of towels we left them there and the maids changed them for us. I would recommend Teasers for the breakfast which was only 1.79 euro when we were there. I would also recommend Coyote for the beers - a pint of Superbock was only 1 euro from 08.00am to 9.00pm. We tried eating in Coyote but were disappointed, they are really only suited for snacks but the kids loved the ice cream sundaes you get there. There is a chippy called Laura's Plaice and it was lovely. We also ate in Annabells and their food was excellent. I would give Little Britian a miss as Annabells food is much nicer. I was worried about the place being hilly as I have been in Albufeira before but it was no problem. We took the train into the old town of Albuferia and it has changed a lot from the last time we were there. They have an esculator which takes you about 70 ft up the side of a cliff and there was amazing views. Use the train to get to the old town. The train costs 2 euro for a single ticket but if you buy a whole day ticket for 4 euro you can go on the train as many times as you want. I noticed people were using it as a taxi service as it is runs until about 3 in the morning. The only thing you have to watch for is the pavements. They are cobbled and rise and fall in unexpected places so be careful! The first thing you should do is get a free map from the Rep's Room in the apartment's reception area then you will have no problem finding everywhere. Overall we felt that you didn't need to go onto the strip as everything you need is within 5 mins away. I would recommend going to Santa Eulialia beach which is only a 10 min downhill walk from the complex. The sun loungers are expensive though 25 euro for a full day or 15 for a half day needless to say we brought our towels and sat on a lovely grassy area. There isn't much of shop only an expensive restaurant at the beach so take plenty of sarnies and water with you. We went to the Aquashow. My two (aged 9 and 16) both loved it. You can hire a locker so that you don't have to lug all your towels etc with you. This place is small but there is plenty to do. As least we weren't knackered walking round the place and again, if possible take a picnic as when we went to the restaurant in the place they had run out of some things like chips.Loved the area so much within hours of getting home we booked again for next year!

We have just returned from our 2 week holiday at the Santa Eulalia Beach Club in Albufeira, which was our first visit to Portugal. After reading some very mixed reviews about the apartments, where some people had said that they were not very clean and that the staff were rude, we were very close to changing to a different apartment but decided to stick with the one we had booked.

We were very apprehensive about what to expect, but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised!
Our room was immaculate and spacious with a T.v , safety deposit box and air con (dont pay for the air con remote as u can switch it on and off yourself). The bathroom was lovely and had a powerful shower.
We had a big balcony with a sea view but it overlooked the main road which is always busy so it can be quite noisy at night but it didn't bother us.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bed linen and towels every 3 days.

There are 2 beaches 10mins either side of the apartment, the beach to the left is the nicer of the two, Its bigger and quieter.

Along the road before the Strip is an Italian restaurant called Trevi and its fantastic!!!! Best lasagne ever! Further along the road is Sunset Pizza which is great too!
In the old town is a mexican called Mi Sombrero and it did great fajitas!

We had a brilliant holiday and would definately return!
