The apartments in a lovely location, but some do need updating a little, our second was lovely but within the group some a little outdated, 3 out of the 4 groups asked to move as we had no balcony, even tho this was requested on booking months before, this took 3 days , but did run smoothly, the staff took care of moving cases n fridge items, the only reason I have not marked the cleanliness @ a 5 is the cleaning was limited, we had clean towels everyday, but that was about it, beds were just re made & not changed, dress pillows left off, sides not wiped down, but not sure if that's what happens in general apartments as we usually stay in the hotels, hence why I have only dropped 1 mark, but other than that a fantastic holiday.

Stay here for 3 nights had a 2 bedroom apt. It was perfec, lots of room, pool was great I really couldn't fault it and if I'm to return to Portugal I will definitely be booking here again also location is great not too near the strip but not far we walked to it every night. There was a beautiful beach hiding away at the back of the complex that was amazing I must say it was a great break.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio apartment in the first week in October. The apartment had all the facilities you could possibly need from AC to a dishwasher, only down side was the bed was creaky and felt like we attempted to sleep on a rock for the week. Pool was lovely and clean with a snack bar along side with a really friendly group of staff. We had B&B and the breakfast was both cooked and continental in the Hotel which is just stunning. Location is brilliant, 5 minute walk to the strip, 5 mins to the nearest beach down a good few steps and a 20 minute walk into the town. Weather was cloudy the first 2 days but soon cleared up for the remaining 5 days. Overall lovely holiday but would chose the hotel over the apartments if you like a good nights sleep.

Travelled 12th Sept for 1week - Booked a 2 bed Apt & were not disappointed, although for only 2 of us. We were in Block 12 on 1st floor overlooking a pool & poolside restaurant. The Apt was spacious with 3 sets of french windows one of which led on to a small balcony with table & chairs. Both bedrooms were of a good size with plenty of storage space. Kitchen was well equipped, although this formed part of a small lounge with a sofa bed which was pretty hard! The TV was an old small one which did not have the english channel it was supposed to but after reporting to reception it was retuned same day.
The Breakfast provided in the poolside restaurant was excellent, with a good choice for all tastes. The lady who spoke perfect english (assume the boss!) was extremely pleasant & helpful. The beaches were also lovely despite a LOT of wooden steps approx 80! But not a problem as there were flat platfoms interspaced on the way down. Pool was a little cool but not unbearable. The local area of shops & eating places were also pleasant. However, the best eaterie was 'The Sizzling Stone' which is a must which is on the edge of the strip about 10 mins walk from the resort. A visit to Vilamoura Marina is a must, about 45 mins bus ride. Also, a visit to the Old Town is also a must. Quaint, interesting, & the performers in Square entertaining, especially 'Mr Shadow'. All in all a great holiday in a beautiful place. Would def return

We booked Block 4 apartment C direct with the owner, who was very accommodating, and arranged pick up From faro Airport where we also received the keys, very efficient. The location of this apartment was on the ground floor so we had a large patio with tables and chairs for 6 and sunloungers, the apartment was larger than expected with 2 bedrooms two bathrooms and a large lounge/kitchen/diner which comfortably accommodated 4 people with the option of a sofa bed for another two which we didn't make use of. The apartment was clean, had English satellite TV, DVD etc, so we were not just saddled with News stations. Furniture was perfectly functional if basic, air con was very good. The shared pool [2 mins away] was very good, plenty of loungers even when busy, kids pool which my 2 year old grandson loved and pool snack bar, so no problems their. The local beach [10 minute walk] was very picturesque and less crowded than some of the better known ones. There are steps down to the beach which with a pushchair and a two year old can be a bit of a trek, but dont let it put you off unless you are unlikely to be able to get back up, there are two snack bars on the beach so you can make a day of it. Santa Eulalia itself is a great place to stay, plenty of good restaurants within walking distance Neto/American diner/Cockerel kitchen to name but a few, Supermarket, 5 minutes to the strip and a 5 euro taxi ride to the old town/fishermans beach etc. Highly recommend these apartments.

Room Tip: some apartments appear to better than others suggest booking direct with the owner if possible who have a vested interest in keeping the apartment in good nick.
