Wow what a great place. We had a fantastic stay at Villa Lillia this month. The owner kept in contact well with us before our stay & answered any questions we had. Dmitri welcomed us on arrival & showed us around & we felt we could call him anytime should we need him.
A contact of the owner called Ana did most of our transfers & although a we found it was few euros more expensive than the local cabs we could rely on her & trust that she would get us the places we needed to be on time - her & her husbands mini busses were imaculate. Very friendly, reliable service.
9 ladies stayed at the villa, it had plenty of space, we never felt overcrowded, beds were comfy. Towels provided. You will need to buy your own supplies obviously but Lidl & Aldi are nearby. We have to admit we didn’t walk anywhere & preffered to get taxis, however it seemed very close (5 mins drive) to both the strip & old town where all the bars and restaurants were. One night we headed to vilamoura marina which was slightly further (25 mins) but still no trouble to get to - staying at this villa we got a really good feel for lots of areas, very central point.
Pool not heated but so lovely at the villa especially with the heat that we had! All sunbeds etc also great, has everything you need & would stay again. Price is fab for what you get - really impressed with it all. Great for friend groups or families.
Myself and 4 friends stayed here recently. What a fabulous time we had. The villa is beautiful and situated not too far by taxi to the old and new town. Tracey who owns the villa gave us the number for Ana who has her own taxi business with her husband and they run you everywhere. Dimitri met us at the villa when we arrived and let us drop our bags off while it was cleaned as we got there early. We loved it that much we are already looking for when we can return next year and one of my friends are looking to return with his family. Great stay
We stayed here for a week and cannot fault the place. I had read up on past reviews and took the hand soap comment on board but when we arrived there we found an abundance of it (and sun screen) in the cleaning closet behind the kitchen door. A two minute walk to the bus station and a 13 min walk to the nearest Aldi and Lidl, a 26 minute walk to the old town, 18 min walk through the park and up a small hill to Albuferia shopping and a 45min walk to the new town. Close enough to enjoy the night life, far enough away to enjoy a quiet night sleep. For those with kids there's a park behind the villa with a cafe next to it. The house was immaculate and Dmitri could not have been more helpful, he was amazing and so accommodating. I would go back here in a heart beat. Beautiful villa, well managed and maintained. One of the best finds ever.
Villa Lillia is beautiful. It was spacious, clean, and not to mention has an amazing pool to lounge during the hot sunny days! Tracey was very responsive and helpful and I highly recommend staying here! It is between old and new town and about a 5-7 euro ride to each.. Which is awesome. Dimitri who was the house manager was a bit hard to get in contact with, but all was sorted out. Only downside was that there was no hand soap at all, in any of the washrooms. I'm not sure if this is just typically how the airbnb's or vacation rentals in Spain are, as the place we stayed at in Barcelona also didn't have hand soap. All in all, a great stay!
