I thought this hotel was excellent overall; the sunbeds were comfortable and plentyful. The breakfast was excellent; the fresh fruit was particulary nice. The service was good. The downside for me was the bed, the matress had a metal plate inside which made it very uncomforable for me. It was not what I expect froma 5* hotel. The vegetarian festival consisted of 1 starter and 1 main course (veg lasange, groan) and I found 22.50 euros a bit unpalatable for a vegetarian main course, it would be different story if the restaurant boasted good food/michelin star etc. Not all of the hotel bars/restaurants are open in May which made it a little quiet on an evening so we went into the town each evening which was a shame as I would liked to have used the hotel facilites more so I could have worn my better clothes rather than jeans I felt more appropriate for the town.
The staff were very helpful and the cleanliness was superb. An early breakfast was arranged for us in our room on our last day as we had to leave for the airport before breakfast was served. I enjoyed my stay but I think the hard bed will make me think twice before going again.More
