Returned yesterday from The Paladim, we chose this hotel as it was situated between new and old areas of Albufeira about 10/15 mins to each... this was the first time staying in this location after previous visits to new and old areas, would definitely say it was good position, near good food outlets and supermarket. The room was a pool view, well worth the slight extra in price, clean and excellent kitchen utensils (previous hotels did not have electric kettles) cleaning was done every day although annoying that they still cleaned at 5pm when you perhaps wanted a shower if being out for the day. A notice was placed in out room regarding the towels so this is one of the hotels "hot" problems. Staff very friendly and accommodating, nice pool area however a notice near the bar mentioned about beds being reserved, it is a shame that some people don't adhere to this and the hotel actually remove towels if beds are not used.. we witnessed a bed with a towel on it from 0830 to 1700 which was only used for 1 hour in this time.
Despite a few niggles and the noise of early risers we would go back to this hotel again.

Room Tip: pay extra for pool view

I stayed here last week I had an extremely pleasant holiday in albufeira. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is only a 10 min walk to the beach. The most of the staff are ok only one blonde haired lady behind reception not very nice I got a little make up on my towel I got called to the reception area she told me I had to pay 20euro as I ruined the towel I told her there was no way id pay and said id wash it myself she wasn't impressed neither was I at the thought of paying 20euro!!all the other reception staff were pleasant. Pool really nice and very well kept.I would go back there again no bother.

Room Tip: Ask for pool side view it is lovely and quiet. View is very pleasant.

Good aparthotel in a good location. Room was spacious and well designed. Balcony was comfortable and big enough for the two of us to sit out. Reception staff very helpful and obliging. They printed our boarding passes for our return flights - unlike in the Brisa Sol who directed us to an internet cafe! Pool area very good but many of the sunbeds are a bit dated and sagging.

Excellent hotel, ideal location for a group of 40 year old lads having a few days away, reception staff very friendly, food was excellent, pool clean and the rooms very spacious and clean. Location is ideal just a 10 minute walk either way to strip or old town. We would definately use again.

Stayed here last week of August with my husband and 5 year old child.

HOTEL
Hotel is nice, clean and reception staff were really polite and helpful. Great location but be careful with young children as the road outside is VERY busy with traffic and my little boy was narrowly missed by a car getting in our taxi on leaving the hotel.

Stayed in room 001 which is 1 bedroomed poolside view and right next to restaurant bar. One floor down in the lift opposite reception, and theres the room! Was expecting it to be noisy at night but it was fine.
Air con was great n i actually woke up freezing during the night.
2 lifts in hotel and easily access to everything for disabled people or people with prams.

Balcony was big and there are 2 sets of patio doors (lounge and bedroom) both leading to balcony which had lovely plants and flowers on it. My only disappointment was that the balcony wasn't sunny at all because they are shaped like boxes n the sun just doesn't quite get into the box!

Also would be better if the rooms had double beds instead of 2 singles pushed together because my little boy who is disabled with autism could not be left alone in the lounge pull out bed n so had to sleep with us and he kept nearly falling between the gap in the beds.

Kitchen has everything you need kettle toaster microwave fridge......

Cleaners were ok n replaced towels n made beds n that's about it....don't clean tables in room or on balcony n I think the floor was mopped twice.

RESTAURANT/BAR
Had breakfast in the hotel restaurant every day and I would highly recommend it! 3 euro for an American breakfast (2 bacon 2 eggs and toast) or £4 for a full English ( bacon egg sausage beans and toast).

POOL
2 great pools one for small children and a lovely grassed area. Plenty of comfy padded sun beds but could do with more parasols.

SURROUNDING AREAS!!!
Old town 2.90 euros in a taxi (apparently 10 min walk) but I wasn't walking anywhere in that heat!
Old town beach is amazingly clean and gorgeous! 2 sun beds & parasol 9 euros per day.
Restaurants in the old town are fabulous especially Pampas and Bank....steaks are delicious!

Huge modelo supermarket next to hotel which is always rammed n to be honest I couldn't be bothered going in there because its tooooo big n I couldn't find anything and the que's were ridiculous so...........I sent my husband! Lol

Very nice hotel lovely apartments - cleaned everyday - we did not think it would have the kitchen facilities but it did
Location is great because it it a 10-15 min walk from both Old Town And New Town
but i have to say the paths were very bad for pussy a buggy
pool was a good size as was the baby pool
bar / restauraunt was fine - nothing too flash but clean and prompt service
there is a cafe at the corner next to the shopping centre that is very nice
Reception staff were excellent - friendly and knowledgeable

Room Tip: room next to the hair salon has the biggest balcony but is over the bar
