There have been lots of good reviews about the Brisa Sol (breezy sun, go figure) and I'd just like to emphasise a few points.
First it's ideally placed between a supermarket and a restaurant serving breakfast, evening meals, coffee and cakes. The tourist train stops outside taking you to the strip and the old town for a couple of euros or 3.5 euros for a day ticket. You get a cheap pint of beer across the road at the Net Kafe.
Second, in March, it's cheap (about £20 a night for a studio), clean, quiet and friendly. Reception gave us two keys for the studio and looked up the time for our return transfer free of charge. Our room TV had BBC 1, Channel 4, two english news programmes and a kids channel, only only one for the germans, dutch and spanish. The nice barman found me BBC2 in the bar so I could watch the Scotland/France rugby match (all alone) and it wasn't his fault we lost, but at least Wales beat England.
All in all a good deal.
Only one question. They put up signs in the bathroom saying please put only towels you want changed in the bath. Then the maids come in a change all the towels every day. Defeats logic.More
