By the looks of it this place has been renovated recently. The food was faultless and the cocktails were lovely. Pricey but justified. AMAZING view. Can be a bit quiet in the day time (we did go mid-Sep though) and one day there was just us and three strawberry daiquiris took over half an hour. Still, worth a visit.

Really nice food and atmosphere. Modern! Don't go if you are looking for tradition but do if you enjoy comtemporary dining and seaview. Its a bit pricey but compared to prices at home still very reasonable.

My husband and I attended a friends wedding here last week and have one major gripe that stopped this place getting top marks. Its biggest asset is the view and aspect which is fantastic and when the sun comes down over the sea, in the evening the view is spectacular. We were served champagne cocktails on arrival and the canapes and main meal and all were good too. My complaint arose during the photograph session which took place on the beach. When the photographer called us all down, lots of us left our drinks (they were in glasses and we didnt think it would be very safe to take them with us). When we returned after the photography session, all the drinks had been removed and thrown away. Now this is bad enough but in our case the bride and the groom had very kindly paid for a free bar all day/evening, so needless to say, we were furious. The worst thing was we didnt like to complain and cause a scene on our friends special day. I spoke to group of girls later that night who had just got a round in for six of them, that were also all gone when they came back. The owner also joined the party a bit later with 3 of his friends which I thought was a little rude. Shame that they let themselves down as could be a great venue. ps. They are pulling the building down next door which is a little unsightly and noisy too, although obviously, the owners can not be blamed for this.

Im genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews here - perhaps we were just lucky!? We had a great night here. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a prime location with great views of the sea. The staff was very attentive and helpful and both the filet mignon and the exotic fish were cooked to perfection. But.... The real star of the evening was the "Best chocolate cake in the world". I think it just might be. Crispy chocolate merengue layers diving the most mouth watering chocolate sponge and chocolate cream - OMG!
After dinner we went downstairs to the beautiful and very cool looking bar/club. After a little while the place filled up with mainly locals and a dj started getting the place up. Great night but sore feet from dancing!

We stumbled upon this restaurant, about 10 mins in the opposite direction of the bustle of Albufeira Old Town. Spotted it during the day & fancied the stuffed squid.

We made our way back that evening to find the door was locked (!) but the owner let us in, explaining they were only usually open at weekends off peak but they had a private party in later that evening and would squeeze us in.

We were given a romantic table for 2 on the terrace overlooking the ocean. The food was delicious.
