The vineyard is small but very pretty and quaint. The tour was over quickly but was interesting. If you are passing it is worth a visit but not worth making a special trip, we drove for 1 hour , waited 1 & 1/2 hours for the next tour. If you are a big Cliff fan that will be a bonus for you, if you're going because your love wine and would like to learn more you'll be disappointed. The lady doing the tour wasn't very knowledgeable about wine or great when it came to the wine tasting but new lots about Sir Cliff. Total tour was just 1 hour and there was nothing to do after as we were all rushed out the door so they could have lunch. We did by 4 bottles of different wine that were very good and inexpensive for the quality. Worth buying a few more if you're at the start of your holiday...

we went to book this trip in albufeira ( at the ticket shop- not interested book elsewhere) and were told we could just get a taxi and go, this was wrong as there are set times for tours. however the staff were very good and let us in to try the wine tasting with the tour in progress. so while i cant give a full review i can say from what we did see i found it very interresting and the guide very informative and friendly and the wine was delicious. the grounds were beautiful and spotless. a small shop but good offers on the wine.the only hitch was when we came to leave as our taxi was booked for 2hrs later we had to walk along to a shopping centre to wait as they closed the gates not pleasant in the burning sun. so book before u go !

We were given a bottle of wine by our family and it had an offer of a visit and tour for 2 people free of charge. We decided to use it and instead of arranging the transport from Adega do Cantor we went out by taxi. The hour tour was given by Liz who was interesting and informative and we tasted 4 different wines at the end. We bought 2 bottles of wine in the shop at a reduced rate to take home. Afterwards we walked to the Algarve Shopping Mall for lunch before getting a taxi back to the Villa. It was an enjoyable morning. Shame they have n't anyway to eat there to extend the visit but still worthwhile.

We visited a few weeks ago and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had 3 teens in tow who were a bit dubious initially about such an activity but came away full of chat about the place. If teens are doing any science subject featuring fermentation, biotechnology etc. this will make it far more interesting for them!
Liz gave us an excellent talk , pitched perfectly for the audience. We have been looking for the "legs" in our wineglasses since the tasting session!
The location just behind the Algarve shopping centre makes it a perfect day out.

An interesting tour (not too long) with a friendly, informative guide. Wine tasting was good. We booked the tour and transport from UK but I think our hotel would have arranged it for us if we'd not preplanned it.
