“The best Indian food in Albufeira”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

I've been coming here for 3 years and it remains the best Indian restaurant in this area, others may look better from the outside but you will get the best meal here.

“Good Curry”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Went here not expecting too much and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the curry.

Standard starters (I would recommend the Chicken Pakora) with the full range of Tandoori dishes and curries you would get in the UK. Whilst the portions were not what you would get in Glasgow they were OK and the quality was good.

Drink prices were OK as well so overall quite good value for money. The Nan bread was nice and crispy and the spiced onions delicious.

There are 3 Indian restaurants in a row here and all of them seemed to be doing OK but the busiest was the Clay Oven probably as it was nearest the Strip.

Would use the Bombay again if in the resort and it has a Tripadvisor sticker in the window.

“Currytastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

Whilst on holiday at Praia Oura on the outskirts of Albefeira we tried this fantastic curry house and were delighted withe great curries and excellent service. There were about 4 curry houses next door to each other so there was a lot of competition...we noticed the trip advisor 2012 badge by the door and went on in despite it being one of the least popular that night of the 4 in a row! We were not disappointed...great Passanda and pshwari nan. Everything was tip top and the staff were very friendly and attentive...in fact it was so good we went back to eat there for a second time...my wife had the Pasanda again as she enjoyed it so much the first time!

“Food was very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

We nearly walked past this indian restaurant but are glad we didn't. The food was really good especially the prawn dishes. We enjoyed our stay in Albufeira and will return we recommend Yellowfish Transfers who were spot on.

“Excellent food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

Had a lovely meal here. Not as nice a place as the clay oven. Didn't like the insence as I had a chest infection and it made me cough more. Also don't think it needed it. Service was very good. Kids menu was great. Prices were average for the area. Don't pass it by though. You can't buy good service. The curries were very hot so if u like medium tell them beforehand because their medium was hot !!
