This is our second time to stay in this apartment, it is a very large one bedroomed Penthouse and was top class. All the home comforts and more, the decor was beautiful and a credit to the owners, great taste. The sun shone all day long on the balconies that wrap around the apartment, the view of the sea and countryside are amazing and very entertaining because there is a different view from back, front and side of this very large balcony. There are two pools that are kept spotless, everyday you could see the guys out checking the water and keeping the beautiful colourful gardens in order. The maid service is excellent nothing is a problem and pleasent at all times. You could walk to the centre of Albuferia in ten minutes where you will find lovely sandy beaches, street entertainment, plenty of bars, eating houses (very cheap) and shops. The taxi ride back would cost about €5 this is recommened if you are not into hills. There is an unground car park with a lift right up to the apartment door, which was perfect for us. There is a private electronic gate and only residents can enter via a "zapper" that is supplied with your key on arrival, this made us feel very safe. We spent most of our time relaxing on the balcony reading and chilling, only moving out to have a swim in the beautifuly sea salt swimming pool, some days we lay at the pool relaxing and found there were plenty of sun loungers and although there were families with small children it was very pleasent and lots of space for everyone. We will be retuning to this apartment again and next time will book early in advance as we have learnt that it gets booked up very fast.

Room Tip: Look for penthouse where the sun shines on balcony all day.

We stayed in a lovely apartment with everything you needed, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, cooker, hob. It had fantastic views of the marina to the right and the sea to the left.

The complex is high up on a hill so if you want to go to beach every day it's about a 15 minute walk downhill, and obviously on the way back all uphill. It actually is good exercise as you tend to do very little on holiday, so we enjoyed it every evening thought of it as our workout. But at night we got a taxi in and back. About €5 each way.

We would definitely stay here again but would be great if there was a small cafe on the grounds. Also would like wifi and english speaking sky, all channels portugese (I can understand why but couldn't listen to news for a week after coming home was so sick of it)

Stayed for 10 days and only regret is that we didn't stay for 2 weeks, it was heaven, I miss sitting on the balcony on evenings looking out to sea.

Super super super.

Room Tip: Apartment in Block H 2B is a twin bed apartment with air conditioning. No wifi and only one english...

This is advertised as a hotel but it is apartments.Booked through travel republic,on arriving by shuttle at complex,we were unable to get in as it is gated,we had no key. After getting in we met 2 other couples who were also waiting to get in.After a few phone calls to travel company we were told keys should be collected at marina ,10 min walk away down steep hill. This was only complaint. The apartment was fab, bathroom with spa bath, double bed, wardrobes, fully fitted kitchen, dining area corner sofa ,tv,,very long balcony, great views to marina.2 pools ,lots of loungers.Tennis courts. No shop or bar on site, the area is about 15min walk to old town, very steep hill not suitable for the unfit ! The taxi cost about 6euros to get back from old town, the strip is a little further away.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view got the sun from 2pm till late, great for sunbathing nude,as no-one overlooks y...

Just returned home from a lovely stay at these apartments. Our apartment was clean and modern, had everything we needed. Had a balcony with beautiful views. The complex is immaculate, with two pools and lovely gardens.Umbrellas did not seem to be provided,so we had to buy one. It's on top of the hill,so is a steep walk down into the town.We got a taxi back every night for around 5 euros. We booked through Travel Republic, who did not inform us we had to pick up keys from a separate address! Please be aware of this when using some of the on-line companies. We love Albufeira and would definitely return to these apartments. We also recommend using Yellow Fish for transfers to and from airport.

Stayed in block H, FLAT 2B, stunning view.... fabulous apartment.Balcony runs full length of apartment so worth asking for Sea View. Furnished to high standard and well equipped. Cleaned daily Mon/Fri and fresh towels every couple of days. Pool areas spotless and plenty of loungers. No on site reception /bar or shop so worth getting a taxi to large Mondello Shopping centre for all you essentials. Set at top of steep hill so no good if any mobility problems. Average taxi price from Old Town is 5/6 euros if you struggle with the walk. Dont book through Booking .com as they give no instructions re key pick up... better to go through Owners Direct or Garvetours who will also organise transfers, ...excellent service.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view and at least second floor to enjoy spectacular views.

We stayed in a lovely penthouse apartment with everything you needed and fantastic views but the location was a bit out of the way. The walk down to the old town is fine but you really needed to get a taxi back and this was a struggle most nights as the taxis were extremely busy and we only managed to get a taxi 2 out of 7 nights.

We wouldnt stay here again due to the location being too out the way but the apt itself was fab.

My wife and I loved both the apartment and its location, as well as the fantastic Algarve Getaways.

Cannot believe the location comments as you can take a stroll down to the Marina or old town, and cabs are cheap. we only got a cab once in fact.

Great pool, great gardens, lovely top quality apartments with view to die for.

The location is a few streets back but within 5 mins you have a couple of bars, 10 to the old town. Which means you can chill in the day or party at night....without the noise.

I 100% recommend this complex.
