Four of us dined here three times between the 5th and 15th October 2013. We could not fault this restaurant in any way whatsoever. Dorean who manages the restaurant and her mother who looks after the kitchen do a fantastic job! On our final night we had steak on a stone and chose the sirloin instead of the fillet. It was succulent and we chose salad and chips to accompany it. We each had a slab of granite on which to cook our steaks to our own personal choice. On another night two of us had the Cata Plana (assorted fish and shell fish cooked in a covered copper dish). This was beautiful, succulent and flavorsome.Clearly we are not on our own rating this establishment so highly. In answer to those who have not given it a top score. Don't go to a traditional Portuguese restaurant if you want 'Heinz chunky vegetable soup'!
The restaurant is lovely and clean as are the toilets. Pleasant smooth background music creates a pleasant comfortable atmosphere. We will be back!
