We popped in here to get some filled rolls to take out - friendly service and the rolls were yummy - and very cheap!

Soft Caffe was close to our hotel. My partner and I say outside each time as this is a great sun trap. The drinks are amazing, I paid 1.75 euro for a sangria which is the best 'had and my partner paid 2 euro for a large beer. the baguettes are also lovely and have a option to takeaway for airport etc. The cafe is spotless and staff are so friendly and attentive. Best place in Albufeira to relax with a drink.

Soft Cafe was close to our hotel, and proved to be a perfect lunch spot on a rainy day. The menu is surprisingly extensive, and very reasonably priced. The food is all homemade and they do a great Full English!

We went to this cafe every day for coffee and pastel de nata (a stunning Portugese mini custard tart) or for a couple of beers. We also had evening dinner here on 3 occasions. This is a family run cafe that offers excellent food and drinks at a price that seems too good to be true. In addition to the meals on the menu they also offer a "dish of the day" which for 7.50 euros gets you a full 3 course traditional Portuguese meal. The covert starter is the best that we experienced on our holiday, it consisted of a basket of fresh crusty bread, a large dish of olives in vinaigrette and freshly made sardine pate and chorizo pate. A bottle of Mateus rose wine or delicious green wine will only set you back about 8 euros. You can expect to pay double the amount in a typical restaurant in Olhos or Albufeira for the same quality of food and drink.
The service at this cafe is friendly, personal and first class. The cafe is family owned and is run by Bruno who does front of house and his mum (who does almost all of the cooking). Bruno is an extremely friendly, cheerful, charming and engaging character. He will always find time to speak to you, to have a little joke and thank you for choosing the Soft Caffe. His English is excellent (as is his knowledge of English football) and if you ask he will give you advice on the local area and tell you a little about the history of the area and Portugal itself. This cafe also provided us with wrapped take away baguettes for the airport for our journey home, far cheaper and much better quality than what was on offer at the airport.

We visited the Soft Caffe during our stay at the Velamar and can highly recommend the service from Bruno (very friendly host) as well as lovely food at reasonable prices.
Soft Caffe is a great place to go for lunch or evening meal.
