“Portuguese countryside paradise”

We stayed overnight in Ed and Jane's Quinta da Vila Maria and could not have been more pleased with every single aspect of our stay. Ed and Jane have created a little paradise in the Portuguese countryside. From their warm welcome to the cool airy apartment, to the building with many original features retained, to the extensive grounds with shady trees and masses of grapevines, to the delightful frog pond, to Ed and Jane's knowledge of the area, it was enchanting. I would highly recommend a visit. We will be back!
