Yes the decor is good but there was only one other table for dinner so no atmosphere. The starters were reasonable but the main courses were very poor and with nothing to commend them. Insult to injury was an English radio station playing throughout the meal.

a lovely place and an interesting menu. I enjoyed my bacalao more than my beau enjoyed his traditonal beef, sausage, tomato bread bowl served in a very non traditional style. WAiter suggested a nice local red wine which was excellent. My only complaonft was the music - a constant radio blaring rock, pop, techno and dj commentary spoiled the effect.

We had a great lunch here, at the suggestion of our hostess at Quinta da Espada- great service, really delicious and reasonable prices. Totally enjoyed!

Excellent local menu selections and very good value. Pleasant ambiance and attentive, non-intrusive service. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Non-smokers upstairs, smokers accommodated downstairs in the wine cellar among huge wine jars. Located next to the Roman aqueduct (hence the name). Highly recommended!

From the simple and friendly staff, to the great choice in wines, passing through the delicious food (fabulous pudding pie with apple cream and plain rice; octopus fried fillet with thai rice "pesto style)... everything is as expected.

No room left for dessert, so I'll be getting back there someday.

Great place with no flaws and a very good value for money!
