Situated in the historic centre of Évora, considered a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1986, "Fialho", commanded by firstborn, Amor Fialho, who does the honours and their prescription is overseen by the third generation of the family, Helena e Rui Fialho. Over seven decades, the Fialho family has been dedicated to the art of hospitality as the alentejano way, values for the good and genuine regional cuisine and excellent wine cellar. In the restaurant Fialho there are respect to raw materials valuing the authentic flavours of the Alentejo.

Just had lunch here today and really enjoyed the experience. This restaurant is located in Evora which deserves a visit, declared by Unesco as a World Heritage, and also because if the personal and quaint energy it transmits.
The restaurant with a comfortable and classical feel, has a great service and good selection of Portuguese traditional food. It is not cheap but worth a visit.

Starters are provided without you asking, but enjoyed all our little tapas dishes - fava beans, cheese, meats but it left us without an appetite for the mains. Loved the ambience of the place. Clearly a local treasure and very proud of its reputation.

O Fialho was a very nice place but slightly pricey. The dinner was tasty and good. You will sit down to a table of 5 or 6 starters. be sure to send back anything you aren't interested in. I think we kept three dishes and they were very good. Don't misunderstand me here, the service was very good and the food very good as well but a little more than we paid elsewhere in Evora for what we got.

I went to O Fialho with friends and, even though is wasn't the best rated in Evora, I'm sure it is. A cozy place with amazing food and very good service, we couldn't be any happier! Highly recommended!

Here I enjoyed the typical black pork meat as prescribed by traditional recipes. Although the portion was frightening at first, I was surprised to find myself able to eat it all andenjoy it thouroughly! The meat was superb, extremely delicate and perfectly cooked, with flavours and aromas I had never tasted before. The side potato chips and apple mash were excellently suited to accompany this wonderful dish.
