You are greeted with a table of starters which you can choose to accept or reject (although you are not told this) - unsure what happens to them once you reject them but presume they return for next guest! Food was good but unexceptional in comparison to some other meals in Evora and the surrounds.

Having travelled up to Evora from the Algarve and its many tourist style restaurants, this place was recommended and booked by our Hotel. And what a difference!
The restaurant has an old world atmosphere and charm, professional courtly staff and excellent unique dishes. We had dinner here, try the wild boar or black pork and although not cheap, we thought it good value and would definitely return. One tip, when you sit down at your table, there will probably be 4 or 5 small, tapas style dishes on the table. Just send back the ones you don't want, or all of them if you so feel. You'll be charged for the ones you keep, but they are delicious!

We had lunch at O Fialho almost by accident. We were looking for a pharmacy when we walked past it. My father was there about ten years ago and told me the food was delicious. It was late in the afternoon and only a few tables were taken. In addition to the many appetizers, I head "arroz de lebre", sort of a hare risotto, which was delicious. It is a bit touristy and somewhat expensive (EUR 50 per head with good wine), but I would certainly be back.

Very nice, traditional institution in Evora. One of the oldest. Food was very good - not fantastic - and the entradas were numerous. Very pricey. Lunch for three with wine was 130 euro.

It's a classic restaurant in Evora. For me the best in town. Nice regional food, with classic touch. The portions are not huge. Good service. Do make reservation before coming in, otherwise you wil probably have to wait to be seated. All dishes should be great.
