“Excellent place to try pastries”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2014

This place is THE place if you have a sweet tooth. It is hard to decide which sweet or pastry to have with your coffee since there are many!
A must try is the Pão de Rala.
All the pastries and sweets are made here so just beware that it is not a cheap place.

“Best pastries in Portugal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

This was my second time in Evora and I couldn't miss Ms. Ercilia's amazing fresh pastries, wonders made of eggs and sugar! Any choice is a great choice: definitely worth stopping by!

“Cozy, lovely, tasty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

This is such a charming lovely spot. The pasteis (pastries) are all made on site and are delicious. The coffee is great too. Trust me, this is not your average "tasca" with a few bolos in the cabinet; this is a pastry shop you won't want to miss. Perfect for an morning sweet or an afternoon rest after sightseeing all day.

“Best Sericaia in the World!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

This little pastry shop specializes in Conventual cakes. I have try them all, they are amazing. The Sericaia comes with an extra charge with hand made prunes in conserve done by the local nuns and its to die for!!
I tryed to do Sericaia at home and its so complex and hard work that I don't mind paying for such an amazing cake.

“Just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Tip: for lunch/dinner I highly recommend the Sabores de Monsaraz (check my review and pics).

Cons: after we tasted some regional desserts in Sabores de Monsaraz it's hard to give more than 3 stars to this place.

We had a empada de galinha and encharcada de ovos. Both were just average. This place is overrated.
