I know this restaurant for some years now, but I have only been there for the second time this year.

It is probably the best restaurant in Alentejo, specially if you consider the ratio price/quality.

It is a small place, but the food and the quality of the service are incredible.

Migas and the chicken as well as the variety of starters will make you more than happy with your choice. It worths a visit if you are in Évora, Elvas, Beja and if you are in Lisboa and you want to try something different I would also recommend it.

I must say the other two reviewers really must have had a bad day. Taberna do Adro is one of those places where you have a taste of the Alentejo. The starters depend on the day but you get good products at an affordable price. Tiburnada is a must have. The chicken is a traditional dish that is not easy to find nowadays a truly typical taste. Also try the Tarte de Requeijão, a cheese pie that is one must have dessert. I must also say that the oner is a very nice welcoming lady, born in the village, who gives you an inside look on the reality of the place. It is a small tavern and, therefore, better call before on weekends. But definitely this places is worth the visit!

The place is OK altough too small.
The real problem is in the snobery of the owner who also atend tables, and the ratio price/amount of food.
You just pay too much for such little food, considering thar you're not in a minimal or gastronomic ambiance.
And the worst is the lack of empathy of the waiters.
Go somewhere else instead.
