It would be hard to find fault with The Old Dairy and anyway there is no need to - if you are looking for small and beautiful, this is it. Tucked away with its own outlook onto meadows and old farm buildings, The Old Dairy has been beautifully converted into a compact retreat for two. All on one level, there is a scrumptiously large bed, French doors and a small, but well fitted kitchenette. The bathroom/shower is separate and has its own door off the room. Furnishings are tasteful and in peaceful colours and nothing has been overlooked.
The owner is close by if needed, yet with a walled courtyard, the Old Dairy is very private. With such nice countryside and coast close by, this is where you can lay your head after a busy day and be more than a little comfortable.

Stayed at the Old Dairy as a surprise booking for my partners birthday , She was thrilled with the quirkiness of the cottage .It was very clean and well appointed , The Double bed was huge and so comfortable , We would definitely recommend this place as it is so well situated for all the attractions and walks in the area .
I spent a couple of enjoyable days at Valley Farm whilst visiting Minsmere bird reserve. It was very convenient and was everything that I needed. Liz was welcoming and helpful throughout and the room, the setting, and especially the breakfasts were first rate. I wouldn't hesitate to book again or to recommend it to others.
Stayed in the Old Dairy, it is a lovely little cottage, very well presented.
It is on the small side though with the bedroom and kitchen being one room. For2 people on a short break though this is not an issue. There is enough storage with a good sized wardrobe and a very good sized bed.
The bathroom is lovely, nicely fitted out and in excellent condition.
Having private outside space is a total bonus.
I'd say it is not going to work for you if you are planning to cook your evening meals, there is no real preparation space and the tiny lakeland mini oven is impractical for any cooking.
There are however a couple of good pubs, the Bell at Middleton is good pubs grub. The Crowne at Snape does fantastic food.
Oh and as you are out in the sticks, take your own milk as unfortunately it's not provided.
In summary though, it's a beautiful cottage, mostly very well thoughtout.
Valley Farm B&B is a lovely little hideaway with a comfortable room and a warm welcome. Owner Liz was very thoughtful and accommodating, making my two-night stay very relaxing. The large double room (also available as a twin) overlooked the garden, had its own sink, TV with DVD player and tea-a-plenty...not to mention delicious homemade flapjacks! In addition to this, there was access to an en-suite shower room. Breakfast included fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast and cooked options and was very lovely, setting me up for the day ahead! Close to Minsmere RSPB nature reserve and a lovely pub (The Bell Inn) serving great food at a very reasonable price. I can't recommend it enough and am already considering another stay!
We stayed in the wonderful converted dairy. We took advantage of the cooked breakfast on offer (B and B basis) and served in the main house.
The dairy is fantastic with every thing you could want in one room. The separate shower and toilet is well appointed with nice touch's including high quality towels and gels etc.
The kitchen area has a small oven and two ring hob + a simple microwave. All electricity and heating is included and the bed is large with nice bedding and cover. Everything is very clean, you get your own parking space and a courtyard. We loved it.
Breakfast was great with high quality ingredients, a wonderful host and a period location. Good pubs locally and several take away restaurants in the nearby town.
Only 15-20 minutes trip to the car park at Minsmere, very convenient.
Cant wait to go back
