I added this site to TA because in my humble opinion is the best site for staying if you go to Angkhang, most specially if it is for birding and bird-photography.

Mr Tawatchai (the owner) is a cool, relaxed and friendly guy with a very nice site in a valley that holds a very nice and cold weather and many, many great birds, of which he has great knowledge and shares with a very obvious excitement.

The rooms are pretty simple, but comfortable and clean. Beds are fine and the quite, dark and fresh nights are suitable for good sleeping!

He cooks himself and his specialties are the chinese and thai food... This one I can say that even when it is pretty simple, is tasty and clearly clean.

Khun (Mr in Thai) can set you with a portable blind near his stream for some colorful birds, but he holds great and accurate info for the whole area... don't hesitate to ask him!

The only setback here is the lack of signs to find the location, which it is located on a valley and one easily miss the turn before town... Besides that, it's all good!More
