Lovely quiet village just of A47, with wonderful woodland walks the other end of the village to keep active people fit and dogs happy!
Garden lodge was very, very clean with everything you'd need to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
The swimming pool was clean and warm and the hot tub is huge with a very easy cover (on a frame) and so a joy to use.
Rachael and Andy were lovely, not that we needed to contact them as no problems during our stay and a very detailed pack provided in the property.
If forced to pick little niggles, I'd have to say that the WiFi could be stronger (range extender or something) so that it covered the entire property and not just the lounge kitchen area. The drainage in the wet room was very slow (not sure if this was due to possible blockage or just how it is!) and the pathway to the swimming pool area needs to be wider to enable better access for wheelchair / rollaters.
One final improvement would be to have higher sofas/chairs (or just one chair) in the lounge as we found them a little low (though very comfy) to get up from, especially for older less mobile members of the family!
All in all though, this has to be one of, if not the best holiday home we have ever had the pleasure to stay at (and we have stayed at many over our holidaying lifetime!). We fully recommend it to anyone and will certainly be looking to make a return visit very soon.
Another visit another lovely weekend. This place never fails to disappoint even with the cold weather it was still lovely. Spotlessly clean everything you could want/need and just a lovely lovely place
fully equipped accommodation. very clean. very spacious rooms. need a car to get places, within easy reach of Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Norfolk Broads. excellent enclosed gardens - well maintained, good for both children and dogs. hot tub was lovely and relaxing. would deffo recommend
The lodge is very clean well maintained and has lot of activities for the kids to keep occupied and take a break from the internet. Our kids loved the pool to play around in and the adults enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub. The gardens were lovely and lots of fun was to be had playing table tennis into the evening. Rachael who owns the property showed us where everything was and left us to relax. The lodge has ample crockery etc. for a family of 10 staying and the sunny Norfolk weather saw us get to put the barbeque to good use. North Burlingham itself is a good location for the broads and its also only a short drive to the coast. BeWILDerwood was good fun for our primary school age kids and only 20 minutes drive away.
Location is great for the broads and the coast. The lodge is spacious and well maintained. It has lots of little touches that make it homely. There is ample crockery, cutlery and glassware which makes a great change in a rental. It was very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The lodge was modern and well decorated. The gardens were very pretty. The owner made us feel very welcome.
This property has shops etc within a couple of miles, not far from Norwich or the coast and located close to woodland with local walks. The property is spacious for up to 10 people, well equipped and the owners Rachael and Andrew are most helpful. The outdoor heated pool was a great success as was the hot tub plus a table tennis table and other outdoor games. All the family enjoyed our stay.
We booked the week of our 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Garden Lodge in North Burlingham, a little hamlet just off the A47. It was really superb, with room for the whole family ( 7 adults) and a heated swimming pool and hot tub for our own exclusive use.
All amenities ( e.g.Norwich City, Wroxham Broad) very close by , and we couldn't fault the general atmosphere of the place, which was rural ( some great woodland walks nearby) and extremely tranquil. Full marks to the owners, Andy and Rachael Johnson. We couldn't have asked for more!
