“Great Potential ”
Reviewed March 17, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

This little house has great potential but is lacking so many essentials that are standard with so many other houses. Most of the things missing are small, but they add up.
As we were pulling in the driveway, which is hard to find in the day, at night it would be near impossible since the house is so far off the road with no markings on the street.
Next, as we were pulling up in the driveway, the manager called to inform us that the house wasn't cleaned. We unloaded our bags and the crew showed up, along with the manager. They cleaned it quickly and didn't charge us the cleaning fee. Which was very nice.
The tv remote volume didn't work, no big deal. No wash rags in the master bath, no big deal. The oven would not go past 350, no big deal. The downstairs air conditioner wouldn't work until I cleaned the filter (window units throughout), no big deal.
There was a coffee pot and filters, but no coffee, a little bigger of a deal. Not enough glassware (a few glasses, no wine or juice glasses). No dishwasher and whoever washed a few of the dishes before our arrival did a poor job, a bit of a bigger deal.
The downstairs toilet had to be plunged each time it was used, a bit of a big deal. The master bath was caulked poorly and is in need of a deep deep clean.
The floors got gritty quick and I couldn't find a broom. Most of the window's had storm shutters closed, BUT the one next to the master bed and that window had a flood light in the neighbors yard which shone brightly in the master room all night.
I think for each property the manager should stay a night, cook a meal, take a shower and relax (while taking notes). All these problems (mostly) could be fixed with very little cost.
This is not a bad place at all and could easily be better. If you don't plan on cooking anything other then heat & serve, then the kitchen would be ok. If you don't plan on serving many drinks, then you'll be ok with the lack of glassware. There is wifi, the beds are ok, the couch is comfortable after a long day at the beach (which is a quick 4 minute drive away). I would not stay here again until I was sure these items were taken care of.
