Brand new hotel, easy to find and an excellent stay, really comprehensive breakfast included.

Convennient if you are travelling by car for Brugge and other cities in Belgium.

Coffee freely available.

Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here with a large group, for a business meeting. The hotel was ideal for that. Efficient reception, nice rooms, all still very new. Breakfast was correct. The parking outside was convenient. Location is OK if you have a car

Whilst this hotel has been open since the summer, it still had the feel - and smell - of brand new.

We stayed for a couple of nights as a base for trips into Netherlands and Brugge, and managed to get a special offer of two nights for the price of one (sent to the Accor loyalty card members) - before I saw the offer I'd discounted the hotel as an option as the room rate would have been too high.

So what did we get? A Suite on 4th floor - two bedrooms and a living room / kitchen area. There were no utensils in the kitchen, but there are a few restaurants nearby and a frituure just up the road. Our bedroom was smaller, with no TV, but with the bed facing a full-width patio window to the balcony for great views of the inland port area (it did provide interest). Living room - also with access to the balcony - had a large TV, sofa for 3 (which turned into a sofa bed, for two more, if you need it), two foot stalls, small table, three high seats to the breakfast bar. The childrens room was large, two big single beds, small TV and a high-up window to look at the stars.

Decor was Ibis Green. Not very calming.

The kitchen area had two electric rings, microwave and a fridge (for jenever). Bathroom had bath with shower, separate shower cubicle, two hand basins & WC - but no lock on the door. There was free wi-fi = happy children.

Outside was a swimming pool, but not surprisingly closed in December. The bar was well stocked & reasonably priced for a hotel bar, and a free-to-use (instant) coffee machine 24/7.

The first day we went for breakfast at 10am - bad news. Packed, and the staff were having problems washing glasses quick enough. The squeeze-it-yourself orange juicer was very popular. Good quality breakfast, plenty of it.

Access to the hotel was a bit of a pig, and we used the free above ground parking rather than the underground packing at €12 per night. Staff were freindly & helpful, spoke good English and put up with my ropey Flemish/Dutch.

We would go again if the price was right.

Room Tip: Go for the 4th floor Suites.

This hotel looked amazing, was in the location we were looking for and at a price we were happy to pay!

The road in, is on the opposite side than you need to be, no obvious places to turn around and to top it all, you have to watch out for massive lines of hgv's and trams!!

I have to say if the can put some sort of directions on the website or roads, then it would be perfect!

The team who are working are superb, a very polite, well presented, knowledgable and charming young man checked us in, and out, at all times he was helpful and spoke brilliant English. A credit to the business!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in September 2012. We booked three suites via Groupon, all of them quite large, with a kitchen (microwave and fridge, one suite also had a two-burner stove), nice bathroom, and balcony with chairs. Safety deposit box. Air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi. Very clean (new!), colourful hotel! Helpful staff. Heated outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), a second for small children, and sun terrace. Nice breakfast (extensive warm and cold buffet). Free water & coffee in the lobby all day long. Several restaurants in the neighbourhood. The main disadvantage is the distance to the beach, at least if this is the main reason for staying here (20 minutes on foot), but lots of free parking space near the beach (on the hot weekend we stayed there). Zeebrugge has a wide beach, it takes a while before you reach the sea, but this has the advantage of having lots of space on the beach itself, and hardly any people around!
Bruges, Ostend, Knokke and the Zwin, and even the Dutch coast are in the vicinity.
The Groupon deal was well worth its money, it also included a glass of cava and a snack (a large portion of salami, feta cheese and olives, nachos and guacamole), an ice cream for the children, a day pass for tram and bus, and a discount card for several museums.

Room Tip: Only a few suites have a two burner stove to do some cooking (nrs. 405, 407, 505, ...). Ask for it...
