This is one of those restaurants that is easy to forget. The food was nothing special albeit in generous portions. The curry dishes are nothing special and the noodle dish was bland. The boiled rice was a case of one lump or two, fluffy it was not. None of the food stayed hot for long. Although two heating trays powered by nightlights were placed on the tables they failed to keep the food hot. The plates we were to eat the food off were also placed on these trays a couple of minutes before the food arrived, they were cold to start with and the trays failed to heat them at all. Hence we were eating food from cold plates. One other thing I found of concern was that the person preparing the drinks behind the bar used her bare hands to put ice in the glasses and also to tear up fruit pieces, also to place in the glasses. I didn't see whether she was also handling money and other things at the same time. The use of a spoon for the ice and a knife to cut up the fruit would be an improvement. Alternatively, disposable gloves would have been an option. If this is the standard of hygiene in the area we can see I wonder what it is like in the areas we cannot see, such as the kitchen.
This restaurant also provides a take away service.
