My son and I visited Ypres recently on a flying visit to the Salient. Cheek by jowl with the Menin Gate, Coffee Break was a good find for a light lunch.
They had an interesting selection of savouries - not too many - and pastries (for later perhaps!) and the ubiquitous Gaggia coffee machine.
Panini, quiche and coffees. Reasonable cost, polite and welcoming service, clean loos and Flemish character. What more could you want.
