We felt very rushed on our visit and therefore didn’t get the best experience. Queuing for entry then queuing again to sign in did not help. We did visit at a very busy time and would like to return when the museum is quieter.

This is one of the best Museums dedicated to WW1. Very extensive and very busy. A tip is that you need plenty of time to maximise the entry. There is a lot to see and so this is not a quick visit.

This museum is an excellent learning resource about the first world war. Very novel use of technology to interact with the displays.

by view is biased because i visited the Imperial war museum in london the week before and their experience was more relevant to me . in flanders field is excellent , no doubt , the artefacts are superb . they give you a wrist badge that you can use to personalise your experience , this was not great

This musueum is well thought out and well worth going to. The exhibits are very interesting and well displayed and explained in detail. There is so much to see and do and would be interesting to lots of different groups and individuals.

We visited on a very wet Saturday afternoon in late October.
The admission for a family of three was very reasonable and the museum itself was well laid out and interesting.
We spent two hours here and my 11 year old son was not bored!

We visited this museum as part of a coach trip so we had pre booked tickets so we went in straight away. However, the queue for tickets was quite long. I suppose it was more to do with the 100 year celebrations that it was so busy but try and pre- book a ticket if you can. The museum is well worth the visit and is very educational.

Really enjoyed our first visit to the Museum - excellent film descriptions of testimonies, nurses, soldiers, priests - excavation of tunnels and war equipment found - maps of battlegrounds superimposed over modern day locations

Well worth a visit. Lots of things to look at. Interactive displays. Reasonably priced. Allow at least 2 hours for a visit
