It was a last minute booking so I was not sure what to expect however it was clean and the staff were extreme,y helpful - I was travelling with 2 young children and they brought warm milk up at bedtime. Breakfast was very nice. Overall a lovely stay.

Very friendly staff for whom nothing seems too much trouble: advice, cheap laundry, packed lunch if you leave before breakfast time. Lovely building with plenty of character, room OK but no air conditioning made it somewhat uncomfortable in summer. Free wifi is appreciated. Comprehensive continental breakfast. Central location.

The Albion hotel was recommended by an ex work colleague. Visiting the WW1 battlefields is on our bucket list and Ypres seemed the perfect base.
The hotel was a few hundred yards from the main square. It is well presented with large rooms which were spotless. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast of cold meat and cheese and fruit and cereal which was ample. The staff were also very polite and helpful. I can't recommend this hotel and the Ypres area enough. We will return.

Exellent staff and location. Can do attitude if the staff is worth of mentioning.Safe place to park motorbike is additional plus. Hence the town seems to be rather safe place anyway.Fift star comes when eggs and bacon is included into breakfast.

My boyfriend and I stayed here overnight... Had we of known how lovely it was, we would have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge. Bathroom was huge. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was no a/c but there was a fan which helped keep us cool while sleeping. The location is great, just a short 5min walk to the town square and Menin Gate. Will definitely stay there again!
