Went on a Tuesday evening before the Menin Gate ceremony, ordered steak and did have a fair wait but when the steaks came we could understand why, they were about an inch and a half thick and well worth the wait!
Between the two of us we had 3 small beers & 2 glasses of wine, the steaks were served with green peppercorn sauce on one and with a pat of garlic butter for the plain steak, trimmed with green beans, red cabbage and mushrooms on plate and a huge bowl of the ubiquitous Belgian chips and mayonnaise dip.
We ate the lot!
Cost just short of 50 euros including drinks - what a bargain!
