We have been going to Ostend for many year's butbthis was our first stay in the RAMADA and what a wonderful hotel this is.
The hotel is easily reached by tram from the train station, tram "0" to stop MARIA JOSE SQUARE, then a couple of minutes walk, very close to the massive casino.
We were checked in A.S.A.P by their very pleasant and efficient receptionist, gave all relevant information about breakfast time,wi fi codes, just superb.
The rooms are superb, we had the 1st floor room ,number 211,spotlessly clean, big T,V.tea and coffee making facilities, comfortable bed's,good size room,we are here for 4 night's ,September 2nd till 5th ,and the central location makes this an ideal hotel for my twin brother and I.
We have just got back from breakfast which is superb,huge choice in very pleasant environment, loved the cappuccino coffee
We had a beer on our first night before hitting the pub's, bar's and restaurant's of Ostend and the hotel bar is superb,we got here on happy hour ,5.30pm till 6.30pm werebwe got two HOEGAARDEN BEER'S for the amazing price of €3,all draught beer's on happy hour are half price.
Even though this is only our first day of four day stay in this hotel on any trip to Ostend we will stay no were else ,it is that good.
Great hotel, best I've stayed in this wonderful resort.

we have stayed at this hotel twice now , and we are going back there in 3 weeks time for our 25th wedding anniversary i was born in belguim so go back to see all my family. will always stay at this hotel , we have got to know the staff here and nothing is too much trouble for them it was recently renevated and we saw a difference to when we went back in october 2014 cant wait to see the staff here they make us very welcome
i would recommend this hotel, its near the beach .shops, restaurants the food is excellent and as for the waffels mmmmmm a must Ramada hotel staff see you in 3 weeks

My husband and I stayed for 1 night in this hotel on a special promotion.

The location is very good : it's only 1 stop/5 minutes by coast tram (= tram number 0 in the direction of "De Panne", to be taken on platform 1) from Ostend railwaystation to Marie-José square. The hotel is on the opposite side of the small park on the square at the tram stop.

The hotel is close to shops, to the casino and to the beach.

We arrived too early for check in, but the receptionist already prepared the paperwork, and said that we could leave our luggage in a closet in a hall next to the bar.
This closet wasn't closed off, and we didn't receive a tag to reclaim our luggage, which had us worried a bit, because anybody could get at it. Fortunatly our bag was still there in the evening when we returned.

We got room 196, which was on the ninth floor next to the elevator.
Although the room was reasonably sound proof, we still heard the whirring of the elevator each time it was used.

The room was very modern and clean, with two single beds pushed together to form a double bed.The matresses were very comfortable, the pillows however were not very ergonomic.

There was a good use of space in the room so as to make the most of the compact surface, but we noticed there wasn't much storage space for clothes and luggage.
This was no problem for us, because we only stayed for one night and only had a small suitcase, but maybe guests on a longer stay could mind.

In the room there is a mini-fridge, and a waterboiler for coffee or tea, a flatscreen TV with a huge choice of channels and a small safe.

The bathroom had a big walk-in shower, a toilet and a sink.

Our view was of a fire-escape stair and houses in a sidestreet.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but the breakfast area looked very inviting.

Booked The Ramada as our first choice - Hotel Princess - was full. Not disappointed. Location was very good, within walking distance of beach, park and town centre.
We had two nights - our room was in block 1 at the back of the hotel. No view (other than the fire escapes) but no noise either.
Our friends were in block 2 with a balcony (for which they'd paid extra) and view over the side street.
Rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy.
Breakfast was more than adequate with hot and cold options and plenty of choice.
Car parking was in the local, public, car park a short walk away and at a discounted price.
Overall a very pleasant stay and we'd be happy to return.

What a lovely hotel, staff really friendly, hotel spot on, clean, modern. The breakfast was really nice lots to choose from. This hotel was so good we have rebooked to spend the new year. Great location short distance to the beach. Thankyou ramada hotel
