Myself and my partner went here for dinner on our first night in Bruges after reading great things on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed.
It's a lovely little place, very intimate and cosy - we got prime spot by the fire.
While it is clearly famous for its fondue, we went for the steak as we were craving it.. We had the chateaubriand and it was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever eaten - beautiful cut and cooked to absolute perfection. My favourite touch was as we'd both ordered the cream of peppercorn sauce, we were brought a massive bowl full with a spoon to just tuck in.. it was so good we just poured it over everything - salad, chips, the lot.
We had beer and amarettos and the whole thing was around €80-90 - not the cheapest but certainly worth it..!
It's just the 2 guys running it - one in the kitchen and one on the floor.. While neither spoke much, they definitely weren't unfriendly.
I felt completely relaxed which was a great foot to start off on for our first night.
I look forward to going back here when our travels take us through Bruges again!

Thank Lizzie O

We really enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant is small and intimate with a nice ambience. We had the fish fondue which was great. Highly recommended and pretty good value compared with other Bruges restaurant prices.

Had a very enjoyable and delicious meal in this restaurant on a very recent trip to Bruges. We had the Cheese Fondue which was Devine. The restaurant is romantic and cosy. I definitely recommend that you try this restaurant.

Booked here for the night of New Years Day. We sat upstairs in a typical old Bruges building (lots of wood). We had both a cheese and normal fondue. The food was good but not exceptional but the service whilst being very efficient did not appear to be very friendly.
PS There is a magic little wine bar opposite for pre dinner drinks!

A very charming restaurant, great location and the food was good but a little bit of attitude from both key waiting staff (perhaps the owners) took the edge off for us.
