“Cozy restaurant!”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Nice, little, cozy restaurant near the St.Jacobchurch. You can eat lunch and dinner for a fair price. Good choice of wines and a good service. We had a great time and will go back!

“Great food and atoms but be prepared for the wait”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Agree with most comments on earlier reviews- nice menu, well prepared. Could have benefitted from a wider choice of wines. Run by a lovely couple
Only issue to be aware of which has been mentioned in other reviews, was time between courses. we ate here twice and on both nights , though the starters arrived quite quickly, there was a delay of up to an hour between starter and main. For us, that's just a little too much. I think thirty mins would be ideal so as not to feel rushed but not to feel starving!
Tip-couples ask for the window seat at the front, you are on your own and feel a nice degree of privacy whilst being able to observe the passers by, canal view and the rest of the restaurant.
Be prepared to be there for at least two and a half hours

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Ate hear on 21 August (tried the night before only to find it fully booked) and really enjoyed the experience. Quaint, quirky venue run by husband and wife team. The food was lovely as was the house wine. We had a bit of a wait in between the starter and main which was s shame as it stopped us giving it an 'excellent' review.

“Excellent Restaurant”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

We ate in this restaurant twice during June, 2013. The food was excellent, and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed the whimsical interest the owner had in clocks of all kinds, which can be found both inside and outside the restaurant. The owner seems to take a personal interest, and his wife is the chef. An excellent place to eat.

Lovely interior decorations (amazing clocks!), beautiful location on a quiet corner in Bruges, tasty food, and a very courteous server. Perfect combination.
