Superb from the moment we stepped inside, good spoken English, great room, plush, modern warm and fast wifi. Restaurant prices are a killer! Breakfast €17 starters €22+ meals €40-70 ish- ridiculous and nothing within walking distance so have a beer and you are stuck. There was a conference going on so obviously big companies are picking up the food bills etc. At a room price of £80 for the night for 2, our meal would have cost twice that.. Shame, spoiled it for us and we don't like being ripped off. Needless to say we ate elsewhere.

Room Tip: Don't eat here, have some snacks with you as there is nothing walking distance. Prices in restau...

Thank you for the comments.
Concerning the food, prices start at 18 € for a soup and a main dish. Maybe this was miscommunicated, for which I apologize.

This hotel is easy to reach and convenient if you have a car. The hotel restaurant is expensive but excellent. The family room was a good size with a big, warm and clean bathroom with an efficient shower.
Could be improved: no fridge in the room, no fitness center. The breakfast had several minuses: cold coffee, cold (boiled...) eggs, bread and rolls had to be handled by hand, the apple juice was not replenished after one family served themselves...
The room service, the service at the reception desk and restaurant service were very good: this is a family owned hotel. There is a shuttle service to the historic city.

For anyone looking to spend a few days in the lovely city of Brugge, you'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel.
Positioned a couple of miles fro the city centre, the hotel lays on it own shuttle bus (for a very modest fee) or will arrange taxis for you. Car parking is ample and free, important when you compare the price of parking at inner-city hotels. You will also benefit from very little noise at night.
A big plus for us were the extremely helpful and friendly english-speaking staff. On arrival, it was discovered our room was not quite ready. Without hesitation or request we were immediately up-graded to a superior room free of charge.
Finally, for animal lovers, the hotel has the friendliest ginger and white cat in Belgium.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to return here on our next visit.

Stayed her for 2 nights to visit Brugge the location was spot on for us a few moments of the motorway but only a short straight journey to the town. The hotel does provide transport to the town but we wasn't offered this but we also didn't ask as we prefer to do our own thing and not be tied to times etc. The car ride into town could not be simpler it is a very short straight road to the station here you park in the car park for 3.50 euros go to the bus ticket desk show your parking ticket and they give you a free ticket buses are plentiful and often. However it is only a short walk into the town of which there is several options. We was welcomed to the hotel by a nice young man that took us to our room which exceeded our expectations. Nice big room massive comfy bed with nice quality bedding lovely big bathroom with bath and shower quality towels and nice bowl of toiletries. Also a bottle of water and a small chocolate each provided each day. Breakfast was a buffet style with plentiful choice of good quality hot options where scrambled egg sausage and bacon. We did see a guest have a fried egg done for them also. Although we did enjoy breakfast it is possibly a few euros too pricey imho. Everything else was fantastic free fast internet was a nice touch also a pc to use free in reception. If I was asked to pick fault and criticise I would lower price of breakfast and put a reading light in the room as mentioned elsewhere rooms are a little dark. However I would stay here again and would highly recommend to others.
Other than breakfast we did not dine here others said it was very nice though

Really friendly staff. Clean. Great location. Fish dinner fantastic although a la carte expensive. I have stayed here twice and on both occasions have been very happy with my stay. Breakfast a little basic for a non meat eater but hey isn't most of Europe.

Four of us stayed in two rooms. Our room No 4 s ground floor and geared for those who are less mobile. Excellent from that viewpoint. The hotel is situated one hour walk from Bruges centre and the walk is not recommended given the road and paving in the main. It is a modern clean and comfortable (with one reservation for me) hotel. Whilst we had a lovely big room and all amenities I did not enjoy the very low lighting that seems to be evident in so many hotels now. Despite a standard lamp and three other lights I could not venture to read a paper or book unless in the bright toilet. I requested a light to read and was given another of the same sort, useless. The breakfast is manly continental with a choice of eggs. The feeling we had was the hotel was rather clinical. The bar expensive as was the restaurant which we did not use. To use an iron and ironing board you pay 50E deposit! There is a very good shuttle service to Bruges and I suggest it be used. Finally, please do check the route in because the road works nearby are a nightmare. A nice place but not for us again. Staff excellent.

Thank you for this review. The lights in some of the rooms are not sufficient. The management is aware of this and the result of light studies will be implemented soon. We were a little bit surprized by "the restaurant is too expensive". Hotel guests can have a 2-course meal starting at 18 €. Our restaurants is one of the better restaurants in the area. We score 15/20 in the Gault Millaud. But you can eat here starting at 18 € and make it as expensive as you want. I hope I will have the opportunity to explain this better during your next stay with us.

Didn't expect too much from this Best Western, but was very pleasanty surprised. Amazing room, friendly and efficient service, really comfortable bed and a tasty breakfast selection. Current roadworks made it hard to find, but I'm sure this will improve when the roadworks are completed.

Thank you very much for these nice words. We understand your comment about Best Western. Best Western is doing a huge effort to improve their quality overall. One of the things they have done, is adding new kinds of names for the different categories of hotels. You still have the normal Best Western. A new brand is the Best Western Plus, where you can expect more then in a normal Best Western. And the top brand is the "Best Western Premier". Besides the normal routine controls by Best Western, the Best Western Premier have special reviews on a regular basis. It is difficult to become a Best Western Premier and its very easy to loose it. The Weinebrugge is a Best Western Premier and we are very proud to have that name. Thanks again for the nice review and we hope to welcome you again in the near future ...
