We found Anne's B and B through tripadvisor and were very happy that it exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, an easy walk from the railway station and close to all the main sights. We went for a pre Christmas break with our daughter in laws parents and both rooms we had were very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice. Anne was a very good host and full of useful information about places to visit in Bruges. In particular she directed Geoff and I to a wonderful little local's bar nearby where you could try some of Belgium's famous beers, St Barnabus at 11.5% was absolutely delicious. We would certainly stay with Anne again if we get back to Bruges.

The place is very spacious and inviting. It is a fairly easy 20 min walk from the Bruges train station. Ann was the perfect hostess and made us a lovely breakfast each morning of fresh bread, fresh fruit with yogurt, and eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our very comfortable and attractive room with roomy attached private bathroom. Ann gave us a tips on a close bike rental company (about 6euro 4/hrs) and loaned us her bicycle path map and away we went to the nearby town of Damme (about 45 min away). We highly recommend renting the bikes for 4 hours and taking the easy (flat) ride to the small quaint town of Damme. It is a very bike friendly route which runs completely on a bike path thru the country sides and passes windmills. Pack a sandwich for the trip for a picnic. This was one of the most memorable activities on our trip...not to mention eating all the wonderful dark chocolates in Bruges at nearby Dumon Chocolatier. By the way, most all the museums in Bruges close on Monday so as an alternate activity why not go ride a bike!

We stayed one night here but wished it could have been longer. We arrived earlier than the advertised check in and Anne was lovely and happy for us to go straight to the room. The room was large, bright and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also very big with twin basins and a good shower over full sized bath. The windows opened and looked out over the backyard and pool area. We were interested to know the history of the house which Anne talked a little about. Breakfast was great in the lovely front room full of gorgeous antique furniture. Guests were able to sit outside and there was a little fridge in the hall with wine available for a small price. Brugge is a beautiful place to visit and this B & B fronted onto a lovely square with many restaurants. It was a manageable walk from the train station and I would highly recommend this property for a stay in Brugge.

This place is a real find. A wonderful host called Anne makes sure you are welcomed comfortable and oriented to the town within moments of arriving. We really appreciated her attention to detail. The hotel is clean and well maintained and comfortable and breakfast more than met expectations. Location is perfect for exploring historic Brugges but is just far enough off the tourist traps to be comfortable.

Room Tip: Remember this is a beautifully converted family house.. It is an old building so ability to manage s...

We've just returned from the most fabulous few days in beautiful Bruges on our honeymoon and we are so glad that we chose this small, idyllic, haven.
We had the "Bridal Suite" that spans the attic space at the top of this lovely old house.
With it's own sitting room,pretty amazing bathroom,and romantic,four-poster bed,it was really special.
Anne, the owner is a lovely person. She is really helpful, without being obtrusive.
Her breakfasts are super yummy with fresh breads from the local bakery and freshly squeezed orange juice amongst other delights.
Nothing was too much trouble for her.As well as being a mine of local information(she was born around the corner!)She found bubble wrap and wrapped the beer glasses that we'd brought to take home.
It's little things like that which make a place special and there really was nothing that we could find fault with or would change.
Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Only three rooms to choose from-all a really high standard, but the "bridal suite" that we...

We enjoyed staying at Anne's delightful B&B. Couldn't ask for a better location, walking distance to everything, restaurants, shops and sites. We arrived mid-morning and although our room was not quite ready, Anne allowed us to park on site, bring in on our luggage and spent a few minutes providing us with information about Brugge. The room was very nice, Anne has a great set-up and breakfast was more than complete. As this is an older house, be aware of the creaky floors.

Room Tip: Front room could be noisier because it is facing the street.
