“Excellent hotel in a beautiful city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

Excellent boutique hotel in central Bruges. Modern furnishings, spotlessly clean. We were given a large room on the third floor- enough space for a baby cot and a baby pram. Very good continental breakfast in modern, cosy breakfast room. Very accommodating owners, pleasant, polite, did not mind our son's dirty pram wheels after a long day in Bruge. Cleaning lady a star, waited till after we left (around 1030am) to clean our room- no early knocks on the door. Very close to all sights. 3 or 4 excellent restaurants just behind the hotel. Open but secure parking 2 min walk, underground parking 10-15 min walk. 100euros per night, I am not sure you can find a better deal in Bruge when deciding for accommodation. We would definitely stay at Loreto again when back in this beautiful city.

Room Tip: Had a room on the third floor, fantastic views but a bit tricky for taller guests (over 170cm) due t...

Stayed here for a long weekend mid April. Found the hotel was in an excellent location, just a short walk to the market square with a 24 hour car park a few doors away. As mentioned the rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable, the staff friendly and a good breakfast.
Would definately stay again.

Stay here the middle of April 2012 and could not have been more pleased with the onsite owners and the location of the hotel. I stayed Fri-Sunday and must admit that avoiding a spring through summer weekend in Brugge is wise due to the size of the crowds that pack the streets and museums. Other than that minor issue, the stay was wonderful.

Positives included friendly and very helpful onsite owners, very clean rooms, decent breakfast, excellent location near the major museums and cathedral and many wonderful restaurants. Mass Saturday at 5:30pm (beautiful cathedral that offered a very good mass) right down the street and the wonderful running trail around the old city provided a solid 50 minute run with excellent sights.

Minor negatives included a busy street which was a bit noisy but a good set of ear plugs takes care of that and internet wasn't working in the rooms but did in the breakfast area. This is supposed to be corrected very soon.

The owners did an excellent job suggesting the museum pass that saved significant money and provided a solid return on investment and had a very good car service pick me up at BRU for 73euro which was a great way to avoid the lines to get train tickets and carting my luggage up and down the train steps.

Room Tip: The one single room was very comfortable but was along the narrow side street that was a bit noisy b...

I loved this little hotel. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, nice room - and when you wake up in the morning you can hear the horse carriage go past.

Five of us stayed in the Loreto on the weekend of the 2nd of December and from the moment we entered this beautiful hotel we were made to feel at home. The manager was very friendly and advised us where to go to avoid being ripped off for food etc. Very helpful, all of the staff the rooms and the breakfast were perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers to Bruges.
PS It was also very central to walk to all of the major sites of this wonderful city
