I booked our 3 night stay many months ago, keen to ensure that we got a reservation after so many great reviews on Trip Advisor and we weren’t disappointed We had the self catering deal in room 20, ground floor at the back of the building with a table and chairs in the garden, a great little sun trap. The apartment was clean and spacious, the beds very comfortable and a good hot shower in the large bathroom. It was also useful to be able to use the heated towel rail in the mornings to get the towels dry. A nice touch. Hans was really helpful, taking the time to go through the details, maps, sightseeing, discount card etc and then taking us to our apartment when he could very easily have just given us the key. Perfect positioning for the train station and the sights of Bruges. I cannot fault this place and would love to stay again.

This self catering apartment is a delightful surprise in crowded Bruges. We booked several months before coming which was fortunate as it was completely full every night. The rooms are large for European standards and the bed is very comfortable with crisp, clean sheets. Hans is a wonderful host with a great sense of humor and generous advice on places to eat, shop and visit.
A couple of minor points: the towels were a bit thin and the carpet in room could have been a bit cleaner, but the rest of the room was spotless and the important things were done very well. Get a room on the courtyard if possible. The rooms on the street are still quiet but don't have quite the same ambiance. Great location! Walking distance to everything.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the courtyard for slightly nicer ambience.

Excellent location for exploring Bruges, very friendly and helpful owners and a beautiful city. What more could you want? The apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. A bonus is that Hans & Magda have their own secure car park. We went on the recommendation of other reviewers and they were right!!

If you need a clean, centrally located, self catering apartment in Brugge this is the place to go.

We had room 31 between three, the rooms were large and clean and the beds were comfy. The TV channels in the spacious living room area included bbc1 and 2, so I could watch match of the day.

The hotel is close to the cathedral and is only a five minute walk to the Markt. More importantly it is close to a wide range of restaurants and bars.

Hans was an amiable host, who on arrival provided us with maps and a guide book. I have no qualms in recommending the wonderful Bonobo.

P.S. it has parking for just €9 a day.

I'm a great believer in first impressions and that sometimes it's the small details that count.
The owners Hans and Magda deliver.

Super, super easy journey from the UK. Took Eurostar from London changed at Brussels to Bruges. 10 min walk with cases from the station to the apartments, which are no problem to find. May be a struggle for some to drag cases as it is over cobbled streets all the way (as my poor wrecked suitcase wheels found).

Arrived to a friendly quick check-in.

I had e-mailed prior to arrival to let them know it was my husbands Birthday. We were shown into our immaculate spacious apartment. We found two complimentary mini bottles of perfectly chilled fizz and glasses complete with congratulations card from the hosts, very kind.

Maps of bruges, lists of restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets and addresses are provided as is a guide book for the duration of your stay!. We were drinking a beer on the terrace and Hans walked past and gave us some beer glasses (if we didn't use them it would be like drinking tea from plastic cups - apparently).

The apartments are perfectly placed. And certainly appeared very well equipped - although we ate out whilst we were there (make a reservation at the Gruuthuse Hof restaurant which is just 2 min walk away. Personally I'd give Réliva Restaurant a miss as was not all that the reviews made it to be).

Carrefour not too far to walk for a few supplies.

The apartments are in a quiet area with secure parking. Church bells - no problem for us we are used to them where we live, and the ones here were melodious, rather than the clangers where we live.

I can not recommend the Bonobo apartments highly enough. Would instantly book here again if I visited Bruges.

In common with other reviewers, we found this to be a very good location - clean, modern, very central, quiet and with private secure parking. Our host was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely go again.

We have a 16 year old son who is now too old, and too tall ,to sleep on a sofa bed or on a put-me-up in the same room as us, so the two bedroom XXL apartment in Hotel Bonobo was a perfect solution. We drove from the UK and my husband was delighted that his precious car was could be safely parked in a gated car park (you reserve a space on their website booking form so parking was easy).
The owners are lovely and spoke excellent English. On arrival you are given a small guidebook and decent map of Brugge to borrow during your stay, plus lots of useful information on events, restaurants etc which is a lovely touch. The apartment (which is on the top floor - but there is a small lift) was immaculately clean, spacious and had stunning views from every window. The apartment was split level, with three steps separating the large bathroom and lounge (with new flat screen tv, on which you could access many English speaking channels including BBC1 and 2!). The kitchen area was small but perfectly adaquate for making breakfast and lunch. It included a full-sized fridge, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Eating out is expensive in Bruges but, as it was only a few minutes walk to all the main tourist attractions, it was easy to pop back for a simple lunch. There is a Carrefour Express mini supermarket and a good bakers shop less than 5 minutes walk away.
We stayed for 4 nights and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. During one of those days we took the train to Gent as the train station was only a 15 minute walk away.
The apartment has radiators which can be both indivdually controlled (and switched off if necessary) and controlled overall by a termastat in the dining area. The velux windows can be opened to different degrees if you get a bit hot, which is perfect.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to any family with older children.

Room Tip: The XXL apartment is perfect for a family of 3 or 4
