“Lovely little bar”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

We found this place by accident on our first night in Bruges. It's a great little bar with its own bed called Joey's Tripel. After spending one evening there we went back almost every night of our stay! Definitely worth a visit.

“Must see inside...”
Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

Whilst from the outside, and especially when closed, this place doesn't look too much but go inside and it feels like another world. Dark and candlelit, small tables and definitely atmosphere. Try a joeys beer!

“The most you can have legally”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The guy who owns the place, Steve, is the most fun person I have met in a long while. Although the place cannot boast a huge beer selection or a proper kitchen, Steve's charisma makes up for it! Definitely worth going there for a drink or two just to have a chat with him!

“Warm & cosy”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

We stumbled across Joey's cafe one afternoon and what a delight it was to find. Dark wooden beams and exposed brickwork, along with numerous candles made this bar warm and cosy on a very bitter winter's afternoon. The barman was extremely friendly and helped our group one by one select their chosen beer. We will definitely be back to Bruges and will definitely return to Joey's Cafe!

“Excellent bar with fantastic service”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

We stumbled across Joey's after looking for a decent bar for a while in Bruges. They have a decent beer selection and the staff were really helpful in choosing a nice beer to try. I had the Joey's triple beer which was great. Then the barman bought over another beer for is to try that we weren't even charged for! Very friendly atmosphere to spend our first evening in Bruges
