Stayed at the Salvators for 1 night in between Christmas and New Year on a mini cruise break.

We booked the most expensive room, (€110) not expensive at all and worth every penny. The room was full of surprises including a 6 ft aquarium, jacuzzi bath with mood lighting and music and much more, it was fantastic.

The hotel itself is great and the website doe NOT do it justice, it's quaint and beautifl situated right in the middle of everything.

Breakfast was good with a wide selection and the lounge area was very comfortable with fire and free internet access.

Overall a wonderful stay with only one recommendation for the hotel to update the website.

We stayed at the Hotel Salvators for four nights as a pre-Christmas break and would happily return again.

From the moment we arrived the staff were really helpful and provided maps and information about things to do in the city and where the best Christmas markets could be found. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the railway station (where parking is 2.50 euros per day), and a five minute stroll from the Markt.

Our bedroom faced the cathedral, a lovely view to wake up to in the morning. The room itself was full of character and was very warm and clean, and the bathroom had a fantastic shower, which even included disco lights!

The hotel provides a substantial buffet breakfast: assorted breads, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurts etc....a very good way to set yourself up for a day's wander around the city.

The lounge area was very comfortable, with a fire and plenty of seating. There was a small bar, and a drink in front of the fire was a very welcome end to the evening.

As other reviewers have said, the hotel's website doesn't do it justice, the building itself is full of character and the staff are very friendly. The hotel cat, Speedy, is also quite a character, and will try to join you in your room at night given the opportunity!! He is aptly named!

We spent the last 2 nights of our honeymoon at Salvators. The staff was so accomodating and made things very romantic and private for us. We stayed in a beautiful suite that had amazing views of the Salvators church. We were able to rent bikes for a day, and walked everywhere. We cant wait to go back again someday. Thank you Hotel Salvators for your hospitality and kindness- you went above and beyond!

The website for San Salvators Hotel doesn’t do it justice. On our arrival, from the train station we caught a bus that dropped us off, after a short ride, at the bus stop in front of St. Saviours Cathedral, just steps away from the hotel and very close to center market square.

Brugge is the prettiest town we have ever seen and this hotel added to its memorable charm. The staff was friendly and very accommodating and the breakfast was perfect. It was a buffet with a variety of cheeses, lunch meats, cereals, breads, croissants, fruit salad, yogurt, spreads, etc.

The room was old world charming with modern amenities, very clean, and reasonably priced. Be warned that the church bells may wake you up in morning but they are lovely to listen to (the church itself is worth a visit.).

Free internet access was provided. Bike rentals cost us 10 euros each for the day. All in all it was our best vacation ever and Hotel San Salvators will be visited by us again, hopefully in the near future.

My husband and I have just come back from staying for two nights in the Hotel Salvators in Brugge - and we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts lovely, the free internet access was helpful - and the cat was a lot of fun too (especially us and the staff trying to get him out from under our bed at 11pm!!!).

While the room was small, it had lots of fun design touches that made it quirky and individual, and was very comfortable. A little noisy - but that is the downside of such a great location.

We would have no hesitation at staying there again as we had a lovely stay.
