We reserved two nights at this hotel with a credit card and received a confirmation e-mail. The hotel failed to honour this reservation, however, and failed to contact us by phone or e-mail.
I was tempted to chalk it up as an unfortunate error, but the manager was extremely hostile, rude, and unprofessional. Many of the excuses/accusations he stated were later proven to be false. Another couple had the same problem on the same evening, ruling out the possibility of a fluke.
This hotel left us stranded in a foreign city with a two-year-old daugher and no place to stay. There are over a hundred hotels (literally) in Brugge. Don't take a chance on this one.
